THANKSGIVING DAY - OCTOBER 9: It is fitting for God's people to offer public thanks for all the gifts we have received. The bountiful produce of the earth is a visible sign of the many blessings God wants to shower on us through Christ (see Eph. 1.3Our God also wants us to sharegoods of the earth with all people.

THANKSGIVING MEAL BLESSING:

Bless our food, family and friends, O God. Grant that

filled with good things from Your open hand, that

never close our hearts to the hungry, the homeless

poor. We ask this in the name of the Father, and of the Son,

and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

STEWARDSHIP

My church is composed of people like me.

I help make it what it is.

It will be friendly, if I am.

Its pews will be filled, if I help fill them.

It will do great work, if I work.

It will make generous gifts to many causes,

if I am a generous giver.

It will bring other people into its worship and

fellowship, if I invite and bring them.

It will be a church of loyalty and love, of

fearlessness and faith, and a church with a noble

spirit, if I, who make it what it is, am filled with

these same things.

Therefore, with the help of God, I shall dedicate

myself to the task of being all the things that I want

my church to be.

Stewardship forms that have been handed in have been entered into the computer and the new lists sent out to the Coordinators of each Ministry. The Coordinators will be contacting you.Thank you for your generous sharing of your time and talent!Forms are still available in the gold Stewardship boxes at the
