Tax Receipts The books are closed, audited, reviewed and sent to the Diocese. A five

year comparison has been posted on the board in the entrance of SPP Church. Tax re-

ceipts are available at the back of the church.

Dances are at the Father Morriscy Centre on the fourth Friday of every month from 8-11,

music by Wild Country.—Next date Feb. 22

Choir members and a choir director are needed at Sts. Peter & Paul. -if you know of

anyone who could help us out please call the rectory. The present director is willing to

assist to ease the transition.

St. Samuel’s St. Samuels’ Women’s Exercises: Mon., Wed. and Fri, 10 - 11 am in the Church Hall.

St. Samuel’s Men’s Group hosts a 45’s card party each Sunday evening beginning at 7

pm in the church hall. Cost $5 - no partner required. Everyone welcome!

Community Events: Camp Sheldrake, located in Bartibog, has an opening for a CAMP DIRECTOR for the

2019 summer season and beyond. Interested candidates should forward a cover letter and

Miramichi Folksong Festival is hosting the Annual White Gold Dinner & Concert

Sunday, February 10th, 2019. Tickets by reservation only –call Susan Butler 622-1780.

The Friends of Beaubears Island will host Miramichi historians in a Speaker Se-ries in the library at the Nelson Rural School, at 7pm on Monday and Thursday eve-nings. THE ODD COUPLE, is coming to MVHS Feb.21 through the 24th at 7pm starring Franky

Corcoran and Christopher Cooke and supported by some of the MVHS cast from The Sound

of Music. Tickets are $15 and may be picked up at the door.

It’s almost here! - Valentine’s Card Party - Monday, Feb. 11th Join us for an evening of 45’s, cribbage and bridge at St. Mary’s Hall.

Doors open 6:30 pm, games begin at 7 pm. Donations of prizes and

food for a light lunch would be greatly appreciated. Prizes can be dropped off in the

boxes in place at the church entrances or to the Parish Religious Education office

(located in the basement of St. Mary’s) -donations of food can be dropped off to the
