St. Linus Parish adheres to the Gospel belief, spoken by Jesus: “Wherever two or three are gathered in my name, I am in the midst of them.” We experience God’s presence in the Holy Scripture, the Sacraments, our community and our service.
Welcome All!!
From Fr. Mark’s Desk: The Epiphany of the Lord: “They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gi s of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.” There is an ancient prac ce of the church to proclaim the moveable feasts on the Epiphany of the Lord. That proclama on follows. Know dear brothers and sisters, that, as we have rejoiced at the Na vity of our Lord Jesus Christ, so by leave of God’s mercy we announce to you also the joy of his Resurrec on, who is our Savior. ~On the 17th day of February will fall Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the fast of the most sacred Lenten season. ~On the 4th day of April you will celebrate with joy Easter Day, the Paschal feast of our Lord Jesus Christ. ~On the 13th day of May will be the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ. ~On the 23rd day of May, the feast of Pentecost. ~On the 6th day of June, the feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. ~On the 28th of November, the First Sunday of the Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom is honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. Have a great week! Fr. Mark Walter ~For your calendar: January 22nd or 23rd is the scheduled day the Archdiocese will formally announce the result of Renew My Church as it pertains to St. Linus.
Rest in Peace, Fr. Auer

LOVE IN OUR WORK Today we celebrate the feast of the Epiphany, where the Magi find the newborn king and offer him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. In the spirit of the Magi, please put your gift in the St. Vincent de Paul poor box so that comfort and peace can once again be given to a newborn child.
When you go to the poor, you encounter Jesus. —St. Vincent de Paul
