ST LAURENCE EASTWOOD ‘I want to know Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection’ Philippians 3 v 10 Thank you to all who have worked so hard to keep the Churchyard and Hall surroundings looking good and getting their exercise in such a positive way. St Laurence and All Saints Church WE ARE OPEN for SERVICES & PRIVATE PRAYER We are now open for Mid-Week Holy Communion weekly and 9 and 10.30am Sunday services from Sunday, 12 th July. Private Prayer is now only Monday, 10.30am to 12noon and Friday 2.30pm to 4pm. As only half of the pews will be in use we sadly must introduce a booking system for the 10.30am service as we can only seat 2 individuals or 1 household per pew. To book please email or phone Judith; [email protected] or 523941. We have been busy this week preparing the church to welcome you all back when you feel safe to do so. Strict self-distancing will apply. Face covering must be worn when in church. We have 2m distance markers and the pews/seats are numbered to help us keep the record of attendance required for Track & Trace if the need arises. On arrival you will be greeted by our sides people who will ask you to use the hand sanitisers available on entry. You will be directed to a pew; at this moment we must fill the pews from the front. The reason for this is to maintain safe distancing. At the moment the services will be seated and there will be no singing but we will listen to the hymns. Kingsley will be taking communion on our behalf as movement to and from the chancel is restricted for the time being. Our exit will be via the kitchen side door and departure will be pew by pew, again to ensure we all stay safe. Please do not stop to chat inside the church, please wait until you are outside. There will be a collection plate by the nave for you to donate your weekly giving. Storehouse donations can be put in the boxes which will be by the bell tower. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to church; meanwhile the services are being videoed for livestreaming. Martin and Judith
