community. We recognize the times of struggle, of difficult work, of
misunderstanding, Even of failure.
We give these to You for transformation, So they can become seeds that will find fertile soil. As we leave for the summer, may we take with us

Australian Government Recurrent Funding (AGRF) 2018
• In June 2015, CECWA approved the new Funding Allocation Model based upon a student centred, per capita cost approach.
• Schools now receive their AGRF on a per capita basis according to a Base and Loadings distribution model.
State Government Funding 2018
• State Government funding for schools comes through • Per Capita Funding • Students with Disabilities (SWD) Funding
• We have had modest increase (1.27%) in State
Government Recurrent Funding.

2018 Priorities
As a Catholic school, Religious Education is our first learning area and continues to be our main priority. Standardised testing results, including NAPLAN , OLI & PIPs along with teacher assessments have formed the basis of our priority setting which feed into our Annual Improvement Plan (ASIP). We will continue to consolidate

Targeted investigative play is a key component of our Early Childhood area and is supported by explicit teaching in literacy and numeracy. Curtin University Speech Pathology students will assist in Kindergarten during Terms One to Three and in Pre-Primary during Term Four 2017 we initiated Playgroup , which will continue 2018
