Using Laptop Protective Cases Years 10 and 11 As part of the schools notebook agreement, all students must carry their notebook in the protective case provided at all times. This is to ensure that notebooks are kept safe and protected from any unnecessary damage, protecting the parents and the school from unnecessary cost. Carrying the notebook without the protective case voids the schools insurance agreement, meaning any damage caused while the notebook is not being carried in the case will fall entirely to the parent. This is something the school would like to avoid! If your child is found to be carrying their notebook without the school supplied protective case the notebook will be confiscated and held in the IT office until the student brings the school issued protective case to the IT office or to Mrs Boughton (TAS Block). If your protective case is damaged and requires replacement, a loan case will be provided by the IT office and a new case needs to be purchased as soon as possible to ensure the notebook is adequately

proves to be a difficulty for you, would you speak with either Mr Barrington or the Finance office to make the suitable arrangements. When the original protective case is brought to the IT office or a new school issued protective case is purchased (and any loaned bag returned), an acknowledgement slip must be filled in and handed in, so that the notebook can be returned. We hope that you are able to talk with your child about the importance of keeping the laptop in the protective case and the case kept in good condition at all times. Your child also needs to be made aware of their responsibility of informing you if the case needs to be replaced. Mrs Deb Boughton, IT Coordinator

Sports Update Good Luck Danielle Vasquez, Daniel Davies and Jamie Krzyzczasak who will represent NSWCCC next week at the NSW All Schools Gold Championships. Boys NSWCCC Tennis State Champions!! Congratulations!! On Monday the Boys Tennis Team of Mackenzie Edwards, Eddy Obeid, Paul Mulligan and Luke Ryan attended the finals of the NSWCCC Tennis Teams event at Bathurst. In freezing conditions the team got off to a slow start and were challenged all the way especially in their opening encounter losing the first two sets. They then bounced back winning 3 singles matches and our lower ranked pair of Paul Mulligan and Luke Ryan defeated the higher ranked pair who had previously defeated our top doubles combination! Eddy Obeid and Mackenzie Edwards also played a fantastic match to outclass their opposition. This match proved to be the toughest challenge of the day and the side went onto sweep all before them beating Marist College Eastwood in the final to reclaim their crown of NSWCCC Champions. The boys will now represent NSWCCC in the All Schools finals next term. Congratulations to these boys on a wonderful effort, a big thank you to Mr Phipps for his lunchtime training sessions as well as giving up his weekend to drive the side up and manage them on the day as well as Mr Edwards who also assisted on the trip. !"##$%&'"$(&$Carly Sawtell who qualified for the NSWCCC Cross Country team last week after finishing 8th at last NSWCCC Cross Country Carnival. Well done also to Aris Seitaridis (18th), Chloe Seritti (22nd), Bailey Warren (14th), Ben Niceforo (20th) and Leisha Ryan (42nd) who did a great job representing Wollongong on the day. &Mr Brett Moran, Sports Coordinator

A reminder that all students are welcome to be a part of the choir. If you know your child has a talent in this area or even if they have expressed interest to improve their singing skills, it would be great if you could encourage them to be a part of this group. It is a great opportunity for the students to work with all year groups in a fun and engaging environment. Next term will also see the beginning of a Senior Vocal Ensemble (Years 10-12). Rehearsals will be on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30pm-5pm. A note will be sent home at the end of the term regarding this group. If you have any questions please feel free to email Mrs Quinn
