Dear Shamrock Family, Happy Easter! Yes, it is still the Easter season, as the Easter season lasts for 50 days. Similarly, happy May! May is the month of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom we honor for her most flawless and unconditional love for all, especially for that of her son, Jesus. Our students will honor Mary at our May Crowning Mass, next Tuesday, May 7th at 8:30am. All are welcomed to join as our students honor Mary by adorning her with flowers. Students are encouraged to bring flowers to school this day, so to crown and surround Mary in front of the altar. We honor all mothers this month, as the most selfless expressions of love, service, sacrifice, and patience. This Saturday our students will complete the sacrament of the Eucharist for the very first time and will invite our eternal mother Mary’s son into their hearts forever. We will begin this special first communion mass at 10:00am and we invite all students who wish to participate in the choir, to join in the choir loft before mass. I welcome your families to be present at mass on Saturday to help support our 2nd grade students on this very important milestone day in their Catholic faith journey. Blessings, Ms. Child

REGISTRATION IS PAST DUE: Registration payments were due yesterday and there is a $50 re-enrollment fee starting today. $450 for grades K-4 and $500 for grades 5-8. MAY CROWNING May Crowning is next Tuesday, May 7th. Students are encouraged to bring flowers on this day, Tuesday, May 7th to present to Mary during our crowning ceremony at the end of mass BIBLE STUDY Our church is happy to announce the start of the English Bible Study. “The Bible Timeline” by Jeff Cavins. This is an in-depth bible study which will start May 6th – November 2nd. We meet Monday nights 7-8:30 and led by a team of facilitators. $38 for required study set. Space is limited to 50. RICE BOWLS DUE! If you participated in our Rice Bowl alms giving during lent please turn your rice bowls into the office as soon as possible. Also, if you would like to come in to count the money please email Aimee Sire at asire@csdo.org
