ST. ISIDORE the FARMER CATHOLIC CHURCH Growing Faith, Family and Friendship since 1961
Mission
We, the parish of St. Isidore the Farmer, are dedi-
cated to growing a life-long Catholic community.
Believing in the Risen Christ, we are empowered
by the Holy Spirit to celebrate the Eucharist, to be
nourished by the Word of God, and to serve the
needs of the local and worldwide community.

The Baptism
of the Lord
Stewardship: Jesus, whom God called “my beloved Son,” is also the “servant” of whom Isaiah speaks in the first reading. We ,who are baptized in Christ, must follow His example and use our time and resources in the service of God and neighbor.
Vocation View: This is National Vocation Awareness Week. Celebrate our common vocation of Baptism. Pray for those who are discerning a call to live their baptismal commitment as brothers, sisters, priests, or deacons. (Luke 3:15-16,21-22)

Feed the Hungry –The Social Justice commission has again selected the Catholic Worker House and Family Promise as our Feed the Hungry projects.
On February 10th we will provide the main meal at the Catholic Worker House. See the sign up in the Gathering Space if you can contribute to this meal. There are approximately 25 people in the house at this time.
On February 17th we will provide the Sunday even-ing meal when St. Wenceslaus hosts the Family Promise Program. There are 2 families currently en-rolled. See the sign up sheet in the Gathering Space.
This program’s purpose is to intervene in homeless-ness and poverty. These two hideous conditions mark so many in our society with behaviors and life styles that degrade humankind. It should be our in-nate spirit and responsibility through our love for humankind to want to effect and facilitate better lives for our fellow man .
