Refleccion : Alguna gente piensa que porque los hombres no pueden quedarse embarazados, ellos no tienen derecho a decir algo acerca del aborto. Pero cualquier ser humano, hombre o mujer, tiene derecho y obligacion de hablar cuando la vida de alguien esta en peligro. Un verdadero hombre no se queda parado con sus manos a los lados cuando ninos inocentes estan siendo destrozados violentamente. Ellos hace algo para defender la vida de esos ninos. Oracion: Senor, gracias por encargarme a mis hermanos y hermanas en la familia humana, y porque me encargas ellos a mi. Conservalos a todos fieles a esta llamada. Amen.

Reflection: Some people think that because men cannot get pregnant, they have no right to say anything about abortion. But any human being, male or female, has the right and duty to speak up when someone's life is in danger. Real men don't stand around with their hands at their side when innocent babies are being ripped apart. They do something to defend these children.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for entrusting me to my brothers and sisters in the human family, and for entrusting them to me. Keep us all faithful to this call. Amen

We say the Rosary
for all your prayer requests every Friday at 12 noon, in the Chapel. Everyone is welcome! After the Rosary, the chaplet of Divine Mercy is prayed.

BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS DATES Before a child can be baptized, parents and godparents must attend a baptism preparation class. The completion certificate of class attendance is part of the baptism registration package. Baptism preparation certificates are good for 2

LENTEN PRACTICES: ALMSGIVING
Who Needs Food? Your neighbors in Yucaipa and Calimesa periodically need food assistance due to unemployment, illness or family trauma. Some just simply cannot stretch their social security check to make ends meet due to the cost of their medications. Help us help feed them with needed groceries. The ICS Food Distribution Center needs:

Canned Fruit Canned Ravioli
Drop off a few of these items at the ICS Center or in the containers in Church.

Guía para Ayuno y Abstinencia El ayuno y la abstinencia son obligaciones para todos los católicos durante la temporada de Cuaresma . Comienzan el proceso de purificación y hacernos receptivos a recibir al Señor . Al mismo tiempo, la práctica espiritual no es para todos.
AYUNO: El ayuno fue recomendado por Jesús , tanto por el ejemplo y la enseñanza . Lo mínimo que debemos hacer cuando ayunamos es comer una comida al mediodía y dos pequeños aperitivos durante el día . Miércoles de Ceniza y el Viernes Santo son días de ayuno para la iglesia universal.
ABSTINENCIA: La abstinencia significa no comer carne , los productos cárnicos y aves de corral . Tiene el propósito de permitir que comamos más sencillos , comidas básicas. Miércoles de Ceniza y todos los viernes durante la Cuaresma, y el Viernes Santo son días de abstinencia.
Se pide a todas las personas que gozan de buena salud y que han cumplido catorce años (el día después de un cumpleaños número 14 ) a abstenerse de comer carne en los días mencionados anteriormente.
EDADES Y SALUD: Se solicita a todos los adultos (aquellos que han completado los 18 años ) a ayunar hasta el comienzo de su 60 aniversario . Si su salud no es buena, no importa su edad , que no debe ayunar o abstenerse de alimentos nutritivos , pero deben pasar los días de ayuno y abstinencia haciendo otras prácticas espirituales ( por ejemplo, leer la Biblia, rezar el Rosario , hacer actos de bondad para los demás).
Fasting and Abstinence Guidelines Fasting and abstinence are obligations for all Catholics during the season of Lent. They begin the process of purifying and making us receptive to receive the Lord. At the same time the spiritual practice is not for everyone.
FASTING: Fasting was recommended by Jesus both by example and teaching. The least we are to do when we fast is to eat one meal at midday and two small snacks during the day. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are fast days for the universal church.
ABSTINENCE: Abstinence means not eating meat, meat products, and poultry. It is meant to allow us to eat simpler, basic meals. Ash Wednesday, and every Friday during Lent, and Good Friday are days of abstinence.
AGES AND HEALTH: All persons who are in good health and have completed their fourteenth year (the day after one’s 14th birthday) are asked to abstain from meat on the days mentioned above. All adults (those who have completed their 18th year) are asked to fast up to the beginning of their 60th year. If one’s health is not good, no matter one’s age, they should not fast or abstain from nutritious foods but should spend the days of fasting and abstinence doing other spiritual practices (for example, reading the Bible, praying the Rosary, doing acts of kindness for others).

Easy Steps to Online Giving Online Giving is a direct payment program whereby your contribution is debited automatically from your checking, savings, or credit card account into your church's bank account. It makes it easy to fulfill stewardship commitments, even when you can't attend mass. You never have to bring cash or checks to church. Giving electronically also helps the church save money and improve its budget! 1. Open your internet browser. 2. Click and type into the white box at the top: http://www.stfrancesxcabrinichurch.org This will take you to the Saint Frances Cabrini Church Web Site. 3. Click on the Online Giving Logo to the left of the screen. This will open a new browser window with the address for St. Frances Cabrini Church: https://www.myowngiving.com/Default.aspx?cid=873 4. o the right of the screen click on the words “Sign up for new account” below the words “Existing User Login”. 5. Fill out the information on the screen by clicking and typing into the boxes. · For the “Login Information” enter a new login name and password that you will remember. (You may want to write down
the information or print the screen and place it in a secure place in order to use it in the future.) · For the “Personal Information” If you do not have an e-mail address you want to set one up.
There are several sites on-line where you can get a free address or you may be able to set one up through your internet carrier. 6. After filling out the “Address Information” scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see the words “Enter the code as shown”. Type the letters and numbers that you see in the box to the left of those words. 7. Click on the word “Submit” in the box below. 8. After you have submitted your information you will see a message letting you know that you will get an e-mail to verify your account.
When you open your e-mail you should receive an e- mail from St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church OG @ ParishSOFT.com asking you to click on the link to confirm your account. Just click on the underlined words. This will bring you to your account log in screen. Type in the login name and password that you wrote or saved from step 6.
This will bring up a page called “My Online Giving Home”. 9. Click on the words “My Payment Methods” and fill out the information to manage your payment methods. 10. Click on the words “Give a new Gift”. This will show a screen with all of the accounts that you may donate to. 11. Click on any Accounts you wish to donate to and fill out the information requested. 12. Click the word “Submit” FYI – Once you set up your monthly commitment you will get a reminder e-mail four days prior to your chosen date. If circumstances change you can always adjust your payment at that time.
