Sunday Offering $7,223

Thank you for your ongoing generous support!

Thank You Students, Parents and Teachers of St. Benedict School

Many thanks for all the food you donated to help those in need in our community. The cupboard was very, very bare and now thanks to your generosity we will get through to Christmas.

Special thanks to Mrs. Marano who encourages and teaches the children to donate food several times a year. It does the heart good in the midst of so much need to see our children giving generously.

Thank you and God’s Blessings

Lectio Divina with Cardinal Thomas Collins November 1 ~ 7:00 pm

St. Peter's Parish 840 Bathurst St., Toronto

Lectio Divina ("divine, or sacred, reading") is the name given to a spiritual tradition among Christians over the last two thousand years. This form of prayer involves three distinct stages: a) reading a short scripture passage b) reflecting on the passage and c) a short period of silence. We begin with Vespers (Evening Prayer) at 7:00pm, followed by Lectio Divina from 7:30 to 8:15pm. All are welcome to join Cardinal Collins for this special evening of prayer. Lectio Divina is recorded by Salt & Light Catholic Media for future broadcast.
