4 Ordinary Time Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Last Sunday we heard what great impression Jesus made on Andrew and Peter, John and James. After they were called, they left everything behind and followed Him. Because they met Jesus, their lives changed forever. They did reset their priorities, and Jesus’ work took over their lives. They lived, worked, worshipped and rested in a new way, with Jesus’ friendship resembling in the midst of everything. Meeting that “one person” affected their lives forever. Zebedee was able to enjoy the knowledge of Christ himself and happily support his sons in pursuing the most im-portant thing in their lives, their salvation. It continues to happen in our lives today. We meet the people that affect our lives forever. Jesus is one of them. Do we realize that??? Do we realize how powerful some of those encounters are ??? Do we see how important the persons we deal with are for us, for our fulfillment, for our happiness, for our salvation??? People come into our lives and change them forever, affect our future forever. Are we ready to admit it and see it as it is??? Even if we ignore it, it still stays true, only that looking into it, it gives us capacity to value those persons for who they are to us. In this way we enjoy them even more making the relationship even more meaningful. After meeting Christ we are called to bring others to him, as he is the source of life, happiness and salvation. In the Gospel of this Sunday, Jesus continues to teach with authority; the confirmation of his words finds resemblance in his deeds. These are physical and spiritual acts of healing, miracles, acts of mercy, forgiveness, kind-ness, compassion. His fame as the Gospel says was spreading everywhere, and is until the day of today. Jesus continues to be the answer to all human longings. It is the world that changes, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. No matter how modern we may think we are, we all need Jesus to save us. Our modernity often is a reason why we may feel more separated from the Lord. Our sophistication regarding technology does not help us to stay humble before God. In our self absorption we fail to see our need for God, and this is why we fail to perceive God’s help and miracles. Jesus’ power works in mysterious and miraculous ways even today, but we need to open our heart and mind and let him into our lives. Jesus has authority over the evil spirits and He never dialogues with them. Jesus tells them to be quiet and casts them out. He doesn’t need the Devil’s testimony that would be perverted. The Devil would never do anything good for anyone and it’s apparent disponibility is to cover his evil attempt to manipulate the truth to his evil intent. To learn the truth we need to turn to Jesus who is the source and truth itself. This is why each one of us needs to find our way to follow and to serve Jesus. Each prayer group that we find in our parish, promotes a spirituality that helps individuals to open the windows of our minds and hearts to the reality of Christ. I strongly recommend, that everyone should have a preferred group, or a spirituality that would help them to get closer to Christ. What is your preferred way to pray ??? Who is your preferred Saint that would be your example of understanding or of following Christ ??? What is your way of following Jesus??? What is your way of answering his call to be his disciple and apostle ??? What is your way to serve Christ and his Church??? Let’s give Jesus a chance to continue to work miracles for us by being open to Him, because the authority of his word never expires, and since He is alive, so He can continue to walk and work with us on our journey of faith and life if we let him be our friend and Savior. Queridas Hermanas y Hermanos,
El Domingo pasado escuchamos la gran impresión Que Jesus
causo en Andrés, Pedro, Juan y Santiago. Después de ser llamados,
dejaron todo atrás y lo siguieron. Debido a que conocieron a Jesus, sus vidas cambiaron para
siempre. Restablecieron sus prioridades y la obra de Jesus se hizo cargo de sus vidas. Vivieron,
trabajaron, adoraron y descansaron de una manera nueva, con la amistad de Jesus asemejándose
en medio de todo. Conocer a esa “persona” afecto sus vidas para siempre. Zebedeo pudo disfrutar
del conocimiento del propio Cristo y apoyar felizmente a sus hijos en la búsqueda de lo más importante en sus vidas,
su salvación.
Sigue sucediendo en nuestras vidas hoy. Conocemos a las personas que afectaran nuestras vidas para siempre.
Jesus es uno de ellos. ¿Nos damos cuenta de eso??? ¿Nos damos cuenta de lo poderosos que son algunos de esos
encuentros??? ¿Vemos cuan importantes son las personas con las que tratamos para nosotros, para nuestra
realización, para nuestra felicidad, para nuestra salvación? Las personas entran en nuestras vidas y las cambian para
siempre, afectan nuestro futuro para siempre. ¿Estamos listos para admitirlo y verlo como es??? Incluso si lo ignora-
mos, sigue siendo cierto, solo que mirarlo nos da capacidad de valorar a esas personas por lo que son para nosotros.
De esta manera los disfrutamos aún más haciendo que la relación sea aún más significativa. Después de encontrarnos
con Cristo, estamos llamados a llevarle a otros, ya que Él es la fuente de vida, felicidad y salvación.
En el Evangelio de este Domingo, Jesus continúa enseñando con autoridad; la confirmación de sus palabras en-
cuentra semejanza en sus hechos. Estos son actos de curación físicos y espirituales, milagros, actos de misericordia,
perdón, bondad, compasión. Su fama como dice el Evangelio se fue extendiendo por todas partes, y es hasta los días
de hoy. Jesus sigue siendo la respuesta a todos los anhelos humanos. Es el mundo que cambia, Jesucristo es el
mismo ayer, hoy y siempre. No importa cuán modernos podamos pensar que somos, todos necesitamos que Jesus
nos salve.
Nuestra modernidad es a menudo una razón por la que podemos sentirnos más separados del Señor. Nuestra
sofisticación con respecto a la tecnología no nos ayuda a ser humildes ante Dios. En nuestro ensimismamiento no
logramos ver nuestra necesidad de Dios, y es por eso que no percibimos la ayuda y el milagro de Dios. El poder de
Jesus obra de maneras misteriosas y milagrosas incluso hoy, pero debemos abrir nuestro corazón y nuestra mente y
dejarlo entrar en nuestras vidas.
Jesus tiene autoridad sobre los espíritus malignos y nunca dialoga con ellos. Jesus les dice que se callen y los echa
fuera. No necesita el testimonio del Diablo que sería pervertido. El Diablo nunca haría nada bueno por nadie y su
aparente disponibilidad es cubrir su malvado intento de manipular la verdad para su malvado intento. Para aprender la
verdad, debemos acudir a Jesus, quien es la fuente y la verdad misma.
Por eso cada uno de nosotros necesita encontrar el camino para seguir y servir a Jesus. Cada grupo de oración que
encontramos en nuestra parroquia promueve una espiritualidad que ayuda a las personas a abrir las ventanas de
nuestras mentes y corazones a la realidad de Cristo. Recomiendo encarecidamente que todos tengan un grupo
preferido o una espiritualidad que les ayude a acercarse a Cristo. ¿Cuál es tu forma preferida de rezar? ¿Quién es tu
Santo preferido que sería tu ejemplo de entendimiento o de seguimiento a Cristo? ¿Cuál es tu forma de seguir a
Jesus??? ¿Cuál es tu forma de responder a su llamado a ser su discípulo y apóstol? ¿Cuál es tu forma de servir a
Cristo y a su Iglesia???
Démosle a Jesus la oportunidad de continuar obrando milagros para nosotros al estar abiertos a Él, porque la
autoridad de su palabra nunca caduca, y dado que Él está vivo, para que pueda continuar caminando y trabajando con
nosotros en nuestro camino de fe y vida. Si lo dejamos ser nuestro amigo y Salvador.
¡¡¡Dios les bendiga a todos siempre!!!

IV DOMINGO DEL TIEMPO ORDINARIO Nota a cerca del bautismo de niños(as) en la Parroquia de Santa Ana
1. Los padres (o la madre) del niño(a) deben estar Registrados en la Parroquia, de lo contrario deberá traer una autorización de la Parroquia de donde se está registrado. 2. Los niños(as) a bautizar deben ser menores de 6 años, además, debe proveernos copia del Certificado de nacimiento del niño(a) y concertar una cita en la Oficina parroquial con D. Andrés o P. Víctor Evangelista. 3. Los padrinos pueden ser una pareja (matrimonio de casados por la iglesia) o un padrino/una madrina mayor de 18 años, los mismos deberán llenar una aplicación de compromiso que se le proveerá en la Oficina parroquial o el día de la entrevista. 4. Ante la actual situación de pandemia, el Diácono o el Sacerdote determinarán del cómo se recibirá la oportuna instrucción o charla pre-bautismal para padres y padrinos. 5. El bautismo de infantes tiene lugar los días sábados a las 12:00 horas en el Templo parroquial, eventualmente, también se podrá bautizar en la misa dominical de 3:00 p.m. según la disponibilidad del Sacerdote. Los 5 puntos anteriores son unas normas mínimas a las cuales debemos sujetarnos pues, de lo contrario, pareciera que bautizar es un hecho banal. Recordemos que el Bautismo es el “nuevo nacimiento en el agua y espíritu” (cf. Lc 3,16) y que padres y padrinos vienen a ser los garantes del camino de fe de quien viene a ser un(a) hijo(a) de Dios y miembro de la Iglesia (cf. Hch 16.15-17). Oración para un niño recién bautizado. Señor, Dios nuestro, que de la boca de los niños has sacado la alabanza de tu Nombre, mira con bondad a estos niños que la fe la Iglesia encomienda a tu providencia y, así como tu Hijo, nacido de la Virgen, al recibir con agrado a los niños, los abrazaba y los bendecía, y nos los puso como ejemplo, así también, Padre, derrama sobre ellos tu bendición, para que, cuando lleguen a mayores por su buena conducta entre los hombres, y con la fuerza del Espíritu Santo, sean testigos de Cristo ante el mundo y enseñen y defiendan la fe que profesan. Amén.

La première lecture, Moïse dit au peuple d’Israël que dorénavant Dieu ne parlera plus directement ; il se servira d’un intermédiaire, d’un prophète pour se dire et s’exprimer. Cela a été difficile pour les israélites de reconnaître en Moïse un prophète, comme il a été difficile aussi de reconnaître Jésus comme prophète et encore plus difficile comme Fils de Dieu unique. Nous aussi nous avons de la difficulté à reconnaître les prophètes et ceux qui ont une mission extraordinaire. Paul nous demande d’être chrétiens libres de tout souci, des chrétiens qui se tournent vers l’autre pour que l’autre aussi soit libre de tout souci, pour que lui aussi soit heu-reux. Aimer comme Jésus, ce n’est pas donner aux autres, c’est se donner. Le principal défi est dans nos cœurs. Pas besoin d’actions d’éclat pour toucher notre prochain. Ce qu’il faut, c’est toucher son cœur. Après avoir reçu l’Esprit pour sa mission, une retraite au désert, et s’être choisi des
collaborateurs, Jésus commence son activité. Marc rassemble, dans le cadre d’une journée, l’essentiel de la mission de Jésus en Galilée. En ce jour de sabbat, avec ses quatre premiers disciples, il est à Capharnaüm et c’est là qu’a lieu le pre-mier miracle. Ne nous laissons pas accaparer par un fait extraordinaire. Jésus livre fréquemment un combat avec les dé-mons. Ce que nous devons retenir, c’est que Jésus parle au nom de Dieu avec une telle conviction, que sa Parole a raison de toutes nos limites et nos pauvretés. Jésus a réformé les cœurs. Jésus ne se contente pas de citer les opinions des gens. Il parle de ce qu’il sait, avec compétence et autorité. Il lit les cœurs. Il est présent à l’intérieur de chacun non pour l’inquiéter, mais pour le rassurer. Il est présent pour le guérir, le libérer de tout ce qui peut l’aliéner. Cet homme de Capharnaüm nous ressemble. Il nous arrive de poser des actes qui sont destructeurs pour nous-mêmes et pour les autres. Il nous arrive d’être une personne déchirée qui sait bien ce qu’il faudrait faire pour changer, pour être plus libre. Mais, changer nous fait peur. C’est le pardon qui est d’abord annoncé par Jésus puisque le paralysé est l’image du pauvre et de l’exclu, de celui que beaucoup considéraient comme puni par Dieu à cause de son péché. Il se retrouve maintenant dans une relation de cœur à cœur avec Jésus qui voyait le désir de pardon de cet homme – ce qui n’avait rien à voir avec son état physique. Jésus lui enlève le poids de la culpabilité et du jugement des autres, car au-delà des blessures et des paralysies, il y a un avenir possible. Cela est blasphématoire aux yeux des scribes qui ne sont pas encore prêts à accepter cette nouveauté. Le cœur à cœur avec le Dieu de l’Évangile n’est possible que si nous laissons entrer en nous l’amour de Dieu. Cela exige que nous montrions à Dieu toutes nos blessures, toutes ces choses horribles, malfaisantes et insensées que nous pouvons faire, ou qui nous ont été faites.

Our parish Youth Minister Tony Bellizzi has created a YouTube Channel with over 90 mini-retreats. Ranging from 5-15 minutes each they are designed to inspire everyone from middle school-aged youth through adults. Each “Godshot” video includes inspirational stories and teachings, action tips, prayer, and inspirational quotes.
Each also comes with questions for families to enjoy discussion following viewing the video together. The YouTube channel also has 5 videos on current teen challenges, several guided meditation prayer experiences, and special presentation on Mary and the Eucharist.

is looking for a PART TIME CUSTODIAL To perform cleaning, facilities set-up, and other buildings &
grounds maintenance. Cleaning duties include
mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning
bathrooms, trash removal, etc. Flexible early afternoon hours,
