Difuntos están disponibles en la
oficina parroquial y en el lobby de la
iglesia. Los sobres pueden entregarse
a la oficina o en la canasta de colección durante la Misa.
Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
En el Evangelio de hoy, tenemos una parábola
de dos personas, un fariseo y un recaudador de
impuestos. Uno cree en su propia justicia. En lugar de
alabar a Dios, se felicita por sus propios actos. El
recaudador de impuestos, por otro lado, está a cierta
distancia, demasiado avergonzado incluso para levantar
los ojos hacia Dios. Ora con un corazón humilde y
contrito. Él sabe que ante Dios nadie es justo, nadie
tiene motivos para jactarse. Esto debería ser una
advertencia para nosotros: no sentirnos orgullosos de
nuestra piedad y prácticas, no caer en la justicia propia
de pensar que somos mejores que los demás, que no
somos "como el resto de la humanidad pecadora". Sin
embargo, si nos vestimos de humildad, reconociendo
que todos somos pecadores que necesitamos su
misericordia, seremos exaltados. La oración de los
humildes y los pobre, atraviesa las nubes se atestigua en
la primera lectura de hoy. Nosotros también debemos
servir al Señor voluntaria y humildemente. Y nos
escuchará en nuestra angustia, nos librará del mal, nos
llevará a salvo a su reino celestial. Que pasen una
semana bendecida.

INTENCIONES de la MISA: Reservamos las
intenciones de las misas con un mes de anticipación: por
ejemplo si su misa es para Febrero, necesita venir a la
oficina al inicio de Enero para completar un formulario con
el fin de programar su intención. Se permiten hasta dos
misas por feligrés por mes. El mes de Diciembre se abre el
lunes, 4 de noviembre.
