JOINING TIME

The selected candidates shall join the College / School of Nursing within the specified date. Norequest shall be entertained for extension of time under any circumstances. Failure to join the course intime shall result in the cancellation of the seat and no fee will be refunded.

CLOSURE OF ADMISSIONS :

Usually, the admissions shall be closed at the end of 30 days from the date of commencement of regularsession for the particular batch. However the Instructions of NTRUHS / Director of Medical Education issuedfrom time to time will be followed in this regard.

VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS :

a) The Head of Institution will verify the authenticity of the documents, if satisfied shall direct the candidateto pay the fees etc. immediately.

b) All original documents & declarations shall be preserved in the safe custody of the Principal, in orderto facilitate any enquiry in future.

FEES

The selected candidates have to pay the tution fees and other constituent fees, special fees and cautionmoney deposits at the rates laid down for the purpose from time to time.

OBTAINING OF APPLICATION & SUBMISSION OF FILLED IN APPLICATION

✪ Application forms shall be obtained on payment of Rs. 500/- in the case M.Sc.(N)., P.C.B.Sc.(N)., PBDiploma, B.Sc.,(N) Degree Course, Rs. 300/- in the case of GNM Course. Rs. 50/- in case of M.P.H.W.(F) Course.

✪ Application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

✪ Application forms duly filled in with all necessary documents shall be delivered in person or byregistered post to the Principal, Narayana Nursing Institution, Chinthareddypalem, Nellore - 524 002. A.P.

✪ The filled in application forms received after the last date and time and those unaccompanied by therequired Certificates or with incomplete entries shall stand rejected automatically. Postal delay orapplication lost in transit will not be condoned.

(iii) An appeal against the dismissal order shall be made to the principal of the concerned institutionwithin three months of the receipt of the dismissal order.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION & EXAMINATION : ENGLISH, M.P.H.W. : TELUGU

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO EXAMINATION :

A candidate shall be permitted to appear in any of the subjected if she has attended the class inthe subject for the prescribed period.

Any shortage in Practicals may be made up after the final examination, but the degree /diploma shall not be awarded until the candidate has 100% attendance in Practicals.

PROMOTION RULES :

1. Minimum Pass marks shall be 50% in each Theory and Practical Papers separately exclusive ofinternal marks.

2. A Candidate has to pass in theory and Practical separately in each of the paper.

3. If a candidate fails in either theory or practical paper he / she has to re-appear for both the papers(Theory & Practical).

4. A candidate failing in three are more than three subjects will not be promoted to the next year.

5. Candidate shall not be admitted to the subsequent higher examination unless the candidate haspassed the previous examination.

RE-ADMISSION AFTER DISCOUNTINUATION / BREAK OF STUDY :

The decision will be taken by the principal in accordance with regulations of INC.

TERMINATION OF TRAINING AND DISMISSAL

(i) A candidate admitted to the institution shall be liable for dismissal there from at any time beforecompletion of the course on account of negligence, failure to attend to the prescribed studies, andduties, insubordination, mis-conduct or any other offence amounting to moral turpitude on the partof the candidate which in the opinion of the head of the institution makes it undesirable to continuethe candidate in the college.

(ii) The head of the institution concerned shall be competent authority to issue orders under this regulationwho before taking such action, shall give an opportunity to the candidate to show cause against theproposed action.

POWERS OF THE HEAD OF INSTITUTION

The Head of the Institution may, at any time, cancel the admission, if the candidate has furnished incorrectinformation or enclosed false certificate or fraudulently obtained admission without any further enquiries.

BOARDING AND LODGING :

◗ Hostel accommodation is available in the Institution premises.

◗ All the students shall adhere to the rules and any violation will be viewed seriously.

◗ RAGGING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

◗ All the students have to pay the mess fees and hostel fees as prescribed from time to time in advanceon or before 10th of every month.

◗ The mess is running on sharing system.

Narayana Nursing Institution has its own library with variety of subject's referral and a number ofJournals to update the knowledge and attached with central Library of Narayana Medical College &Narayana Dental College.

The candidates shall undergo extra training for the period compensated by the absence andcontinue the training until next examination.

UNIFORM : Student Nurses shall wear uniform while on duty as prescribed.

COURSE OF STUDY : The candidates admitted into nursing courses shall pursue the course in accordancewith INC syllabus.
