VP Sunshine® MIX #4Aggregate Plus+ MYCORRHIZAE
1. Product Description 2. Typical Nutrient Levels
Sunshine® Mix #4 Aggregate Plus with mycorrhizae is suitable for greenhouse crops requiring a higher amount of porosity.
Sunshine® Mix #4 with mycorrhizae contains a higher amount of horticultural perlite for plants which prefer greater air porosity. The mix contains a proprietary blend of endomycorrhizae designed to colonize a wide spectrum of greenhouse and nursery crops. Dolomitic limestone is used to adjust the pH and our low phosphorus starter fertilizer provides initial feeding for the rst two to three irrigations without restricting mycorrhizal growth. The fertilizer should be supplemented with your choice of liquid feeds as needed by the plants. Use a low phosphorus feed until the roots reach the side of the container to allow the mycorrhizae to colonize the developing roots. It is recommended that fertilizing solution, growing media and plant tissue be analyzed for nutrient content periodically during the crop cycle.

7. Use InformationThis product is designed to be ready to use right out of the bag. Compressed mix should be ued after removal from the package. Flu the product by opening package, removing product and gently mixing. Avoid over mixing. Loose-ll product should be ued for maximum yield. The addition of a small amount of moisture during ung is advantageous; however, over application of moisture will degrade the structure of the blend. It is recommended that growers initiate a sound nutritional program after 2-3 clear waterings following planting based on the quality of water used. Sun Gro’s Technigro® brand fertilizer is recommended. Using the Sun Gro Horticultural Testing Lab is also highly recommended.
