PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTSHazards to Humans and Domestic Animals. CAUTION: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Applicators (e.g., persons opening bags and/or filling potting machines) and other handlers must wear protective eyewear, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes, socks, and a NIOSH-approved particulate respirator with any N, R, or P filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-84A or a NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with an HE filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C. Repeated exposure to high concentrations of microbial proteins can cause allergic sensitization.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions are available for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

DIRECTIONS FOR USEIt is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the State or Tribal agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTSUse this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR Part 170. This Standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted-entry interval (REI). The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by the Worker Protection Standard.

Given the pesticide active ingredient is already incorporated into a sphagnum peat-based growing medium, no restricted-entry interval (0 hours) is needed for this product.

PRODUCT INFORMATIONPRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ has been enriched with Bacillus pumilus bacteria that colonize developing root systems and suppress disease-causing organisms, such as Pythium, Fusarium and Rhizoctonia, and certain labeled insect pests, such as fungus gnats that attack root systems and thrips that pupate into the growing medium. As the root system develops, the bacteria grow within the rhizosphere and extend the protection throughout the growing season. The bacteria also act as a biostimulant and develop with the plant root system as it grows. As a result, a vigorous root system is established, which results in more uniform plant stands after transplanting. In addition, the Glomus intraradices fungi contained in PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ attach to and colonize root systems, working in symbiosis with plants. Endomycorrhizal fungi benefit the host plant by increasing acquisition of water and nutrients (especially phosphorus, copper and zinc) by forming an extensive mycorrhizal hyphal network that attaches to the plant root system. In exchange, the plant provides soluble sugars to the fungus. This symbiotic relationship between fungi and plant results in overall improved plant growth.

PREPARATIONOpen package at the time of seeding, potting or transplanting. Pre-moisten medium with water until slightly moist to the touch after emptying package. Transplant cuttings, plugs, seedlings, etc. in moistened medium taking care to avoid compaction (do not press down around seed or root systems). After transplanting, add water to settle medium. Place newly transplanted trays and pots in a suitable growing area within the protected growing environment. Potting benches and equipment should be located in a clean, weed-free area.

IMPORTANT: PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ is suitable for ornamentals, vegetables, fruits, and tobacco. PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ is for use in protected growing environments only (e.g. glasshouses or greenhouses) and not for use in non-protected environments (e.g. non-contained nurseries or slat houses).

FERTILIZATIONInitial plant development will occur without immediate fertilization. It is essential to initiate a fertilization program at the emergence of the first set of true leaves; this will ensure plants receive adequate nutrients. Select a fertilization program that is appropriate for the plant species grown, stage of development and water nutrient content. If you frequently analyze media nutrient levels and plant tissue throughout the production cycle, you can ensure plants receive proper nutritional requirements.

WATER MANAGEMENTAn essential part of crop culture is water management. When plants require water, irrigate the crop early in the day. This will allow plant foliage and medium surface to dry. Also, medium temperature can warm to normal level by evening. Irrigate thoroughly so water ‘runs through’ to prevent salt accumulation and to ensure uniform wetting and drying of containers throughout the crop. If preferred, additional wetting agent can be applied during the crop cycle at irrigation to reduce surface tension of water for more thorough water penetration and movement throughout the root zone.

Pre-moisten medium with water until slightly moist to the touch after emptying package.• Thoroughly moisten medium to “water-in” plants after transplanting and placing in the protected growing environment.• Do not add fertilizers when sowing seeds.• Use for plants requiring a growing pH between 5.0 and 7.0.• Do not sterilize or pasteurize PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™.• Do not store wet growing media, as pH will tend to climb from activation of limestone.• Store products in sealed bags to avoid intrusion from water, pathogens, pesticides and weeds.• Pesticides and chemical plant regulator treatments can be used in combination with PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ and will provide extended protection

throughout the growing season.• Rotate product inventory to practice ‘First In – First Out’. Product performance is best when used within 12 months of manufacturing date (see manufacturing date on package: yyyy.mm.dd).

ilus bacteria that colonize developing root systems and suppress disease-causing organism

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTSHazards to Humans and Domestic Animals. CAUTION: Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Applicators (e.g., persons opening bags and/or filling potting machines) and other handlers must wear protective eyewear, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, shoes, socks, and a NIOSH-approved particulate respirator with any N, R, or P filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-84A or a NIOSH-approved powered air purifying respirator with an HE filter with NIOSH approval number prefix TC-21C. Repeated exposure to high concentrations of microbial proteins can cause allergic sensitization.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions are available for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

DIRECTIONS FOR USEIt is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the State or Tribal agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTSUse this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR Part 170. This Standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted-entry interval (REI). The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by the Worker Protection Standard.

Given the pesticide active ingredient is already incorporated into a sphagnum peat-based growing medium, no restricted-entry interval (0 hours) is needed for this product.

PRODUCT INFORMATIONPRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ has been enriched with Bacillus pumilus bacteria that colonize developing root systems and suppress disease-causing organisms, such as Pythium, Fusarium and Rhizoctonia, and certain labeled insect pests, such as fungus gnats that attack root systems and thrips that pupate into the growing medium. As the root system develops, the bacteria grow within the rhizosphere and extend the protection throughout the growing season. The bacteria also act as a biostimulant and develop with the plant root system as it grows. As a result, a vigorous root system is established, which results in more uniform plant stands after transplanting. In addition, the Glomus intraradices fungi contained in PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ attach to and colonize root systems, working in symbiosis with plants. Endomycorrhizal fungi benefit the host plant by increasing acquisition of water and nutrients (especially phosphorus, copper and zinc) by forming an extensive mycorrhizal hyphal network that attaches to the plant root system. In exchange, the plant provides soluble sugars to the fungus. This symbiotic relationship between fungi and plant results in overall improved plant growth.

PREPARATIONOpen package at the time of seeding, potting or transplanting. Pre-moisten medium with water until slightly moist to the touch after emptying package. Transplant cuttings, plugs, seedlings, etc. in moistened medium taking care to avoid compaction (do not press down around seed or root systems). After transplanting, add water to settle medium. Place newly transplanted trays and pots in a suitable growing area within the protected growing environment. Potting benches and equipment should be located in a clean, weed-free area.

IMPORTANT: PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ is suitable for ornamentals, vegetables, fruits, and tobacco. PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ is for use in protected growing environments only (e.g. glasshouses or greenhouses) and not for use in non-protected environments (e.g. non-contained nurseries or slat houses).

FERTILIZATIONInitial plant development will occur without immediate fertilization. It is essential to initiate a fertilization program at the emergence of the first set of true leaves; this will ensure plants receive adequate nutrients. Select a fertilization program that is appropriate for the plant species grown, stage of development and water nutrient content. If you frequently analyze media nutrient levels and plant tissue throughout the production cycle, you can ensure plants receive proper nutritional requirements.

WATER MANAGEMENTAn essential part of crop culture is water management. When plants require water, irrigate the crop early in the day. This will allow plant foliage and medium surface to dry. Also, medium temperature can warm to normal level by evening. Irrigate thoroughly so water ‘runs through’ to prevent salt accumulation and to ensure uniform wetting and drying of containers throughout the crop. If preferred, additional wetting agent can be applied during the crop cycle at irrigation to reduce surface tension of water for more thorough water penetration and movement throughout the root zone.

Pre-moisten medium with water until slightly moist to the touch after emptying package.• Thoroughly moisten medium to “water-in” plants after transplanting and placing in the protected growing environment.• Do not add fertilizers when sowing seeds.• Use for plants requiring a growing pH between 5.0 and 7.0.• Do not sterilize or pasteurize PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™.• Do not store wet growing media, as pH will tend to climb from activation of limestone.• Store products in sealed bags to avoid intrusion from water, pathogens, pesticides and weeds.• Pesticides and chemical plant regulator treatments can be used in combination with PRO-MIX® BIOFUNGICIDE™ + MYCORRHIZAE™ and will provide extended protection

throughout the growing season.• Rotate product inventory to practice ‘First In – First Out’. Product performance is best when used within 12 months of manufacturing date (see manufacturing date on package: yyyy.mm.dd).
