Project Synopsis Title PAYROLL MANAGEMENT Team Objective/ Aim The main objective of the project is to design and implement a payroll system that should accept the employee details, hours worked ,and leave details and attendance details this also allow as to maintain a pay slip and salary register, based on the attendance of the employee taking care of the leaves overtime allowances ,loans ,advance, bonus ,encasement and other standard deductions like P.F ,E.S.I.C, Professional tax ,income tax etc… The payroll is an application that leads itself well to the computer because its repetitive procedure .Computerized payroll system performs the same basic functions as those performed by the payroll clerk. In a computerized payroll system the computer stores data such as employee details, leave details, pay slip details, HRD details and transfer, promos ion details etc. After end of the pay periods it operators enter the details and produce report based on the transactions take place

It also calculates all the withholding taxes and other deduction and accumulates the earning and withholdings.

The system should prepare pay slip and a payroll ledger, and maintain data on a sequential payroll file. Non-statutory deductions such as union dues and pension plans to be made.
