for the group by establishing a school - 'Florence Nightingale Primary School' in Chennai.

In 1985, The 'SRM Engineering College' was established in Kattankulathur, near Chennai, and

soon grew into numerous SRM centers of learning.

In 1992, The 'SRM College of Nursing ' and the ‘SRM College of Pharmacy’ was

established.

In 1993, The 'SRM College of Physiotherapy', 'SRM Institute of Hotel Management' and 'SRM

Institute of Management Studies' were created.

In 1995, The 'SRM Dental College' was established.

Human Resources and Development, Government of India and was known as SRM Institute

of Science and Technology (SRMIST).

In 2003-04, The Engineering, Para-medical and many other SRM institutions were brought

under the ambit of SRM Deemed University.
