ReStoRatIVe YoGaRestorative yoga is a deeply rejuvenating experience that allows the body to release both mental and physical tension by beingsupported in passive yoga poses. Using props such as blocks, blankets, straps, etc. the body assumes a gently supported poseand in this propped state, the asana can be held for a longer time. This creates a deeper relaxation, restoring the body to a natu-ral state of peace and balance. These supported poses can stretch the muscles further than repetitive movements (as in vinyasa).Deep changes can happen in the body with restorative yoga! Instructor: Sue Bovenizer
