The Admissions Process for Cardiovascular Perfusion, Chiropody, Diagnostic Cytology, Genetics Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Respiratory Therapy, and Ultrasound (all OCAS programs) includes:• An assessment of an applicant’s cumulative GPA and/or prerequisite courses• An assessment of an applicant’s performance during the Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) session• Firm offers will be sent the second week of May to top ranked applicants• Offers will be sent to wait list candidates throughout May until programs are fullFor detailed information, please visit michener.ca/adm_procedures
What should I know about the Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs)? • Applicants complete a 70 minute circuit of eight seven-minute mini-interviews, rotating from station to station• Invitations for applicants to complete MMIs, at Michener, will be sent out during the week of April 14• MMIs are similar to Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) used by medical schools and certifying bodies except that they are not “clinical”• At each MMI interview station, applicants will respond to a question or scenario before proceeding to the next station

For Medical Radiation Sciences (MRS) applicants:• Provisional offers will be sent between mid-March to early April 2014• Firm offers will be sent mid-May until the end of May 2014

What should I know about Health Requirements?• Immunizations and a Vulnerable Persons Check are mandatory entry requirements to Michener programs• Health requirements must be completed by September 15• Completion can involve several visits to your health care provider and can take up to 10 weeks• Please start the process of completing these requirements immediately should you receive an offer of admission
