A LITTLE HISTORY

• Founded in 2001 by a group of dedicated

gamers to have LANs and such.

• Held around 35 LAN parties.

• Hiatus in 2008 - 2009.

• Relaunched and rebranded by current

group.

FORMAT OF LADDER

Higher placing players per game get more

points.

Points per game are based on attendance

for that game.

Top 6 play for winner of the ladder in a

finals tournament at the LAN.

• NOS aiming to be official drinks sponsor of

the Grand Prix.

• PUGG officers will manage NOS gaming

launch (simulators, racing games etc..)

BOILERFRAG 2.0

• April 23rd - 24th!

• Semester LAN party at the Armory!

– Huge space with convenient parking.

• About 120 people, PC and console.

• Tournaments, prizes and giveaways.

• Product demos and other fun activities.

• Sponsors: Cooler Master, Zotac etc..

PRESIDENT

• Sets the direction of PUGG for the year.

• Chairs and observes all meetings.

• Is the official face of PUGG and first point

of contact.

• Keeps our Adviser informed on everything

going on with PUGG.

VICE PRESIDENT

• Acts as “Chief of Staff”.

• Keeps all officers on task and makes sure

the President’s vision is followed.

• Takes over if the President is assassinated

or cannot make it to the meeting for any

reason.

TREASURER

• Handles all financials for the club.

– Member dues.

– BoilerFrag dues.

– Payments on equipment.

• Works with PR officers to find and contact

sponsors for BoilerFrag.

• Maintains NOS relationship with President.

NETWORK MANAGERS

• Makes sure anything that has to do with

network runs properly especially at LANs.

• Maintains PUGG’s equipment.

EVENT MANAGER

• Takes charge of setting up events.

• Booking rooms at Office of Dean of

Students (ODOS).

• Makes sure PUGG has a space at all

times when we need it for something.

• In charge of advertising for events along

with Public Relations.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

• Contacts all sponsors for BoilerFrag 1.0.

• Maintains NOS partnership along with

President and Treasurer.

• Keeps members in the loop on what’s

going on.

• Runs our Facebook and Twitter page.

CONSOLE MANAGER

• Bring console members into the fold.

• Runs our Monthly Showdowns.

• Keeps everything going with our consoles.

LAN LOGISTICS

• Runs our servers that we’ll be setting up.

• Works with the network managers.

• Deals with power distribution at LAN.

MEDIA TEAM

• Photographers to document events.

• Videographers to create ads for BoilerFrag

as well as get some video footage of

BoilerFrag for future promotional ads.
