Spreadsheets and

Computer modelling

This unit was all about spreadsheets. We learned about

using computers to reduce time when making calculations.

In business, people use spreadsheets for creating big

graphs with lots of information or for calculation of big

amount of numbers.

I really liked doing such tasks as Hogwarts houses. We

used given steps to learn how to use icrosoft !"cel. Weneeded to find the functions ourselves. That was really

interesting for me.

We also learned about writing formulas. Here are some

e"amples#

We also learned about cell references and other parts of a

spreadsheet document. !very cell has its own name,

made up of its row number and column letter.

However there were some hard tasks as for e"ample,

writing big formulas before we got to know about the

shortened formulas +e.g. %S*+C() instead of

%C&'(). However, I really liked this unit- Its great-
