THE MISSIONThe AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) mobilizes communities to create equity and justice for people living with and vulnerable to HIV and related chronic diseases. For more than 30 years, AFC has led the HIV service sector in Chicago and Illinois through case management, housing, prevention and advocacy services.

THE VISION FOR THE FUTURE World of Chocolate helps AFC work toward a day in which people living with HIV and related chronic diseases will thrive, and new HIV infections will be rare. To achieve this, AFC is focusing on four key priorities over the next two years: improving health equity, preventing new cases of HIV, serving as a collaboration and knowledge center and being a bold voice for change. Since its inception, World of Chocolate has raised over $2.1 million to fund vital HIV/AIDS services and programs at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC). This much-anticipated event has become Chicago’s premiere World AIDS Day event.

While the chocolatiers and chefs compete for top honors and accolades, partygoers enjoy sweet and savory chocolate creations, live entertainment, an open bar and our celebrated punchboard & ra�le prizes.
