Why Your Company Will Benefit From Being Involved With No Plays Off (NPO) Elite Basketball Club...Basketball is continuing to grow in popularity as a sport for all ages and is one of the most family friendly sports in the world.

Hi, we are No Plays Off (NPO) Elite, a non-profit basketball organization, located in Charlotte, NC. Our program was started to fulfill a needed void in competitive summer basketball for student-athletes. Highly competitive teams are very exclusive and usually only cater to individuals who have the means to pay for the cost to participate on a team. Cheaper organizations tend to not be competitive enough for players seeking a higher level of competition, thus providing less exposure to college scouts.

This is where NPO Elite steps in. We aim to compile the most competitive schedule possible across Southeast United States for a low- or no-cost opportunity. Our goal is to give each student-athlete in the Charlotte-Metro and Surrounding areas an equal and fair chance to showcase their talent and character to colleges and universities regardless of financial status. Through sponsorships, grants, and fundraisers, we want the organization to have the finances to provide for each player’s membership cost including but not limited to: jerseys, team shoes, backpacks, AAU membership and insurance, tournament fees, practice fees, travel and lodging, and food.

About The Program

No Plays Off Elite was established in 2019 by a group of former basketball players who continue to love and appreciate the game. Marquell Hammonds took on the job of President while his teammates Jeffery Dennis became VP/Treasurer and Jalen Hinkson stepped up to the role of VP/Secretary. They wanted to give back to the community in the form of basketball and guide youth in the way they didn’t experience while growing up in Charlotte, NC. With this in mind they started Student Athletes of the Future, Inc., a non-profit organization, and NPO Elite Basketball in order to lead young athletes in the right direction with hopes to attend college on a scholarship.

CompetitionsThroughout the spring and summer of 2020, our team will travel to multiple states across America: North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, and Nevada.

The tournaments will be very competitive with tons of college scouts in attendance. We will be prepared to place high in all events we attend through hardwork and determination. All tournaments will either be AAU, Jr. NBA, or USA Basketball Certified.

PlayersIn our inaugural season, we will host one 14U/8th grade team consisting of student-athletes across Charlotte and surrounding area middle schools. Our players will be required to maintain at least a 2.5 gpa in order to play and a goal of 3.0 or above.

The coaches will never place the value of winning above the value of instilling the highest desirable ideals of character in our players.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of out of pocket expenses that come with running our organization. Your donation will help keep the cost of running our organization down and allow us to provide more for our athletes. As you can see below, most of our expenses are transportation fees, hotel & lodging, and food.
