The Falls Theatre was built from January to July 1927 at a cost of $25,000. On August 29, 1927 the Theater opened to a packed crowd filling the 476 seats to capacity. The first movie shown was Painting the Town, a silent comedy by director William Craft. Admission prices started at 10 and 25 cents (with inflation this would be about $3.25 today).

Movies switched three times a week. For example on their original runs Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was shown April 30 - May 1, 1938 on a weekend, and The Wizard of Oz shown from September 24 - 26, 1939. The special engagement movie Gone with the Wind came on May 16 - 17, 1940 only with a special admission price of $1.10, to packed crowds.

As new owners took over they made a promise not to raise their prices. Due to this promise the Falls Theatre needs our help now more than ever. It has been apart of this community for 85 years, which is why we want to put on a benefit to raise donations for the Falls Theatre.

How are we going to do this?

With the help of our sponsors we will execute a Movie’s in the Park event. At this event we will play two movies – Finding Nemo and The Hunger Games. This event will take place at Glen Park located in River Falls, WI. We will sell candy, popcorn, pop, chairs and glow sticks. This event will raise a benefitting amount of money for the Falls Theatre. Our goal is to give back to a place that has been giving to the community for 85 years. We are asking you to please help us accomplish our goal.

The date is set April 26, 2013 so secure your sponsorship before January 31, 2013 in order to be apart of this community-changing event.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Director - $900Logo/Name inclusion in the following:

• eBlasts: logo/name in graphic e-mails distributed to more than 5,000 patrons• Recognition in The Falls Theatre prior to the showing of

current movies for 6 months after the event• Web promotions: Year-round logo inclusion and company

Presence at the Event:• Company name/logo displayed on various posters

throughout the park (venue)• Large logo inclusion on the screen before movie starts• 2 large vertical banners that hang on the baseball field fence• Logo heat pressed onto merchandise sold at event (chairs,

napkins, popcorn buckets, cups, and glow sticks)• Ability to do product/company displays at the event

Additional Benefits:• 8 VIP tickets to the event• Ability to provide volunteer opportunities for your employees

at the event• Voucher for a free popcorn and pop at the next showing of

your choice at the Falls Theatre
