On behalf of Engineers Australia, the ICCE2022 Local Organising Committee invites you to become a sponsor and/or exhibitor at the 37th International Conference on Coastal Engineering taking place in Sydney, New South Wales, 3 – 8 July 2022.

The prestigious ICCE biennial series is organised under the auspices of the Coastal Engineering Research Council (CERC) of Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). 2022 will mark the 72nd year since the first ICCE was hosted and to celebrate, the Conference will be held in the spectacular city of Sydney, Australia. Boasting an iconic harbour bridge, cultural venues, international cuisine and surf beaches, Sydney’s stunning coastal setting and convenient transport linkages provide an ideal venue to host the 37th ICCE.

ICCE2022 OUTLINE

Location: Sydney, AustraliaSydney, Australia’s gateway city and the capital of the state of New South Wales is built around one of the largest, most beautiful harbours in the world and along miles of golden surfing beaches which stretch north and south of the city on the shore of the Pacific Ocean. The beaches and harbour play a major role in the cultural and leisure lives of Sydneysiders – yachting, surfing, sailboarding, kit-surfing, swimming, walking, boating and fishing are all popular activities.

Many national parks and protected areas of natural bushland surround the city and the beautiful Blue Mountains are an easy journey on public transport to the west. Perhaps the most famous of Sydney’s landmarks is the spectacular Sydney Opera House with its graceful ‘sails’. The Opera House is just one of Sydney’s cultural centres, offering opera, ballet,

drama and film. The historic ‘Rocks’ area, site of the original European settlement, is nearby, and this part of the harbour foreshore is a hub of activity for both local residents and visitors. Conference App: An app will be available for smartphone and tablet users attending the Conference. The app will be used continually throughout the Conference and this is a great way to have your brand in front of delegates from day one. Your logo prominently featured on the app and you will have the opportunity to include an advertisement in the app.

2 Plenary Keynote Speaker: (3 opportunities) – You will receive acknowledgement as sponsoring the selected keynote speaker. Your logo will be included on all Conference publications (subject to time of sponsorship booking) and you will have the opportunity to introduce the keynote speaker, including acknowledgement of your organisation, at the beginning of the speaker’s presentation. Assignment of SpaceNo application will be processed or space assigned unless full payment has been received with your application form. If not, the contract will be considered cancelled and space will be reassigned by Encanta Event Management. Requests for exhibition spaces will be assigned by Encanta Event Management by the date of receipt of application on a space-available basis. Encanta Event Management reserves the right to assign or reassign stand space so that the arrangement of the exhibition is in the best interest of the attendees and the exhibitors.

Cancellation PolicyOnce a booking form has been received for Sponsorship or Trade Exhibition opportunities, any cancellation must be advised in writing. If the cancellation is received by 3 February 2022 an administration fee of 25% of the total price is retained. If the cancellation is received after 3 February 2022, no refund is applicable.

Resale of cancelled bookings: Resale conditions apply to both Sponsorship and Trade Exhibition opportunities however this only applies to trade if all trade booths are sold. If we are not able to resell the trade booth or sponsorship package no refund is payable regardless of when advice is provided. In case of resale, an administration fee of 25% of the total price is retained.

OtherAll signage is to be free-standing unless otherwise approved. A delegate list with name, organisation, state/country will be supplied at the conclusion of the Conference. Each company representative attending the Conference must be pre-registered with the Secretariat.
