The 2015 Greensboro Civic Hackathon is being organized by Code
for Greensboro, in partnership with Co//ab Greensboro, to coincide
with the National Day of Civic Hacking on June 6, 2015.
On that day thousands of people will gather together around the
country using technology to make their communities better. Teams
will build apps and websites that showcase and increase access to
important civic datafrom bus schedules to health informationwhile
advancing the non-partisan ideal of open government and citizen
participation.
Your sponsorship supports the dozens of designers, developers,
writers, photographers, database specialists, and citizens of
Greensboro with the desire to help our local government become more
open and technologically engaged as they volunteer their weekend to
work on civic issues.
