GO Give an Opportunity is a network of volunteers from around the world. We all work together to achieve the GO scholarship program, which promotes education among low-income students and academically outstanding.

Better access to academic, financial assistance to enable them to complete their secondary education and advanced health treatments, counseling and seminars for improvement.

OriginsOriginsNational Context: The program GO Give an Opportunity arises in the context of socio-economic crisis in Argentina, 2001.
Local Context: The first fellows of the program came from the public school IPEM 18, located in the northern part of Cordoba. They were high school students who were at risk of dropping out for lack of economic resources.

ScholarshipsScholarships "GO Give an Opportunity" offers scholarships for high school and college students! Scholars are selected based on three criterion:
•financial need
•school performance
•family support
University ScholarshipsUniversity ScholarshipsImplemented in 2009.
The scholars are high school scholars who have successfully graduated.
We have 4 college students
The scholarship includes:
75% coverage for specialized tutoring at a private institute, to be able to get into college.
Transportation

First day of activities 2011: in March we had the first meeting of the year. Organize some games to integrate the new guys.
Jennifer, one of the university interns, presents GO in an art exhibition organized by the scholars.
Medical volunteers come to our meeting to check up scholars once a year. Scholars are then derived to specialists.
Elida, a volunteer since 2001, is a biochemist and draws blood from to make the annual checkups.
