President’s Message Dr. Lisa Ellingsen
Greetings Everyone!
I am hopeful you are all recovering from our recent windstorm and
back to business as usual at home and at the office. I think
everyone would agree with me the storm and its aftermath
certainly stripped us down, clearly defining our most basic needs
and requirements both personally and professionally. If you are
like me it was a good reminder to appreciate the many ways these
“needs” are provided for in our lives on a daily basis. I also
noticed in spite of the hardship and frustration there also seemed to
be a healthy sense of appreciation and gratitude along with a
stronger sense of community. I am amazed and impressed at the
resilience of our community. I cannot think of better attributes and
feelings to carry us through this time of the year than strength and
gratitude. Wishing you and your families much peace and joy this
Holiday Season and hopefully a lot less grief from Mother Nature!

On behalf of the Spokane District Dental Society Foundation Board, I invite you to participate in a very special event. The Spokane District Dental Society Foundation (SDDSF) will hold its fifth annual Gala at the Northern Quest Resort & Casino on Friday, April 17, 2015. We need your help to make it a success.
What can you do?
Please consider donating items which can be included in our live and silent auctions. Donations small and large are welcomed! A few great ideas include: themed gift baskets (wine, family fun night, spa, sports, etc.), tickets to sporting events, concerts and theme parks, golf vouchers, airline tickets, artwork, vacations, dinner gift certificates and services. NO donation is too small. The SDDSF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. As such, your much needed donation is tax deductible! Monetary donations are always welcome and again, tax deductible.
