    I A group of students carried out an experiment to study the effect of light intensity on the rate ofphotosynthesis.Diagram 1 shows the apparatusset-up to collect the gas produced when the aquaticplantreceived different intensities of light.The aquaticplant was illuminated from a lighted bulb of 40 watts for periods of 5 minutesat five differentdistances, , from the bulb. At the end of each 5 minuteperiod,a gasbubble was drawn nto the capillary tubeusing a syringe.The lengthof the gas bubble was measured sing a ruler and recorded.The temperature n the water bath was maintained at 25"C throughout this experiment.Sekumpulanmurid menjalankan eksperimen untuk mengkaji kesan keamatan cahaya ke atas kadarfotosintesis.Rajah I menunjukkan usunan adas untuk mengumpulgas yang dihasilkan apabila suatu tumbuhanakuatikmenerimakeamatancahayayang berbeza.Turnbuhanakuatik itu telah didedah kepada cahaya daripada mentol menyala, 40 watt untuk tempoh 5 minitpada lima jarak yang berbeza,d" daripada mentol.
