2.2 Product Proposal from Vendor

The expected documentation shall consist of

• Document survey with design responsible name and revision history. Revision of the document must be in letter ( Rev A )

• Requirement tagging compliance list. The list must include, Req.tag, Parameter, Condition and Yes or No.

• Drawing on the cable assembly. (Supplier drawing, not to be copied

from 1056-doc.) This drawing will be open for all vendors, and will be used for incoming inspection. Revision of the drawing must be in letter ( Rev A ).

• Bill of material list.

• Drawing, electrical and mechanical data on used connector types.

• Drawing, electrical and mechanical data on cable bulk.

• Verification record, if requested in the 1056-document.

• Out turn samples (2 pieces) is to be sent to the design department at Ericsson AB.

• The completed container file with PDF-documents shall be sent back to EAB [email protected]

2.2.1 Product changes

Ericsson AB must approve all layout/component changes.

Ericsson AB reserves the right to require the manufacturer to submit samples incorporating the proposed changes for application evaluation and approval.

2.2.2 Moving production to other factories

Ericsson AB shall approve moving the production to other factories before such a change shall become active. First point of contact is the sourcing responsible person at Ericsson AB.

EAB/PJR/EL (B. Jansson) 2007-04-11 B

If the cable assembly is to be produced with alternative components the existing approved container file must be updated. Alternative components must be added to the bill of material under the same position with information that they are alternative components e.g. Pos 1. Component A (main alternative) Pos 1. Component B (alternative)

Alternative is to add a separate Bill of material to the container file.

All deviations must be stated in the container file and new out turn samples must be sent to the design department at Ericsson AB.
