Brewery floors are subject to frequent spills and staining as well as heavy loads and foot traffic. Caustic chemicals, thermal shock, slip resistance and hygiene are also a concern.

Polymer flooring systems ensure a non-porous, smooth, seamless, monolithic surface where there is simply nowhere for bacteria to grow.

In addition, Flowcrete Americas’ ISO 22196 certified cementitious urethane flooring materials offer enhanced protection with the inclusion of Polgiene®, a natural silver-ion additive, designed to eliminate the spread of surface bacteria by up to 99.9% between wash cycles.

How Does Polygiene® Work?

Trowel applied, heavy-duty and wear resistant antimicrobial treated cementitious urethane mortars. Flowfresh HF & IF provide a durable, anti-slip finish, which is resistant to thermal shock, steam cleaning and moisture vapor transmission.

A slurry-broadcast, anti-slip and durable antimicrobial treated cementitious urethane flooring system. The non-toxic, low-odor system provides a positively textured and vibrantly colored floor finish, which is resistant to thermal shock and moisture vapor transmission.
