Software-defined networking (SDN) and Internet of things (IoT) technologies are key to building a Smart Nation. With this course, you will gain the expertise to design and implement advanced network infrastructure solutions in software-defined networks and IoT communication networks.

Entry RequirementsApplicants should have a recognised university degree or polytechnic diploma in infocomm technology, communications engineering, computer engineering, electronics engineering, information technology, computer science or other relevant disciplines. Those with relevant experience but without qualification may be granted special admission based on proficiency assessment results and portfolio review (interview).

You will be awarded the Specialist Diploma in Advanced Networking upon successful completion of two Post-Diploma Certificates (PDCs):

• PDC in Software-Defined Networking (150 hours)This PDC has four modules that give you the know-how to support a converged SDN infrastructure with the characteristics of high performance and high availability, dynamic and load-balanced service provisioning, and ease of management

• PDC in IoT Communication Systems (150 hours)This PDC consists of four modules where you will learn how to implement and manage IoT solutions with a converged network infrastructure
