• Request for Capital Sales Tax Expenditures:
Agree that the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $14,099.09 meets
the intent of the Capital Sales Tax for the purchase of Replacement Dell
Server.
Agree that the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $9,792.76 for the
purchase of 8 Dell workstations and 6 monitors.

Roll was called by Missy Wilson, Assistant City Administrator, at 6:02 p.m. and the attendance was as follows: Present: Lisa Emerson, Jim Schaap, Jason Hull, Deborah Sommer, Jeremy Bledsoe Absent: Darrell Swofford, Rudolph Pieters
• Approve the 3-10-2020 minutes. • Hull, seconded by Sommer, made a motion to adopt. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-
0-2 Ayes: Hull, Sommer, Emerson, Schaap, Bledsoe Nay: None Absent: Swofford, Pieters
• Request for Capital Sales Tax Expenditures: • Agree that the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $165,000 meets the intended use of the
Capital Sales Tax Funds for purchase of 1-Single Axle Dump Truck with snow spreader. Bledsoe, seconded by Emerson, made a motion to adopt. The motion was
approved by a vote of 5-0-2. o Ayes: Bledsoe, Emerson, Schaap, Hull, Sommer o Nays: None o Absent: Swofford, Pieters
• Agree that the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $9,548 meets the intended use of the Capital Sales Tax Funds for the purchase of 1-snow spreader.
Hull, seconded by Bledsoe, made a motion to adopt. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0-2
o Ayes: Hull, Bledsoe, Emerson, Schaap, Sommer o Nays: None o Absent: Swofford, Pieters
• Agree that the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $35,000 meets the intended use of the Capital Sales Tas Funds for the purchase of 1-Animal Control Vehicle (replacement).
Emerson, seconded by Hull, made a motion to adopt. The motion was approved by a vote of 5-0-2.

* Ending Fund Balance is higher primarily restructuring of emergency management services. The amount left in fund balance is recommended for one-time Public Safety
improvements for the City.
We are proud to say that we believe “Raytown City Government is operating at a
high level of efficiency. We are confident they will continue to perform at this level for
the remainder of the bond and sales tax issues. All expenditures are consistent with the sales tax expectations, and the voters’
intended use for the sales tax. ”

Future Sales Tax Projects
The City plans to continue with its annual replacement program. The City has been reserving funds for major projects and plans to use those funds along with Missouri Department of Transportation funds to construct improvements on the City’s roadways.
