Testimonials of Evergreen College
• “This was the most enjoyable English lesson I have ever taught.
They (old folks) are so passionate (about learning). Some of them
had close to zero knowledge but they just copied my notes alphabet
by alphabet and tried to practice it with their classmates. ”
Grace (volunteer)
• “It is much more interesting to learn in a group rather than by myself.
Maybe I would not be able to pick it (calligraphy) up, but I am so
happy now. I want to learn more: computer, cooking, everything!”
Sun Fang ZHAO (customer, 90 years old)
• “(Evergreen College) brings us to places where we used to go. We
haven’t been able to come here as we no longer drive. It makes us
feel ageing is not so frightened as we thought” –
Mr & Mrs Tan (customer and primary carer, 84 & 81 years old)
