WHAT IS A DISCUSSION?

Talk between two or more people on a certain topic or topics.

Can be formal or informal.Exchange of views between speakers

– agreeing, disagreeing, expressing opinions, etc. and finally arriving at a conclusion.

EXPRESSIONS USED IN DISCUSSIONS

Expressing one’s opinion:

I believe…… I have to say that…..In my view….. I wish to say that…It is my opinion… To me…I think… Let me tell you…I somehow feel… I have to say that…Look/Listen, let us understand…According to me,… It is clear/evident that… As far as I’m concerned,…

It is interesting that Italian food ranks as the most popular ethnic food in America. So my presentation today is about an Italian food item that is very popular throughout the world – pizza.
