• This graph represents the age comparison between your age in Earth and your age in Saturn. People in Earth that travel to Saturn will reduce drastically their age. The graph above shows that people that have 40 year will be about 1.4 and people that are 20 years old will be approximately 1 year old in Saturn.

Page 9: Space Travel Project

Where will we stay? You may have more than one location

• We will stay at the Dione adventure hotel in saturn satellite moon called Dione which is known to have non breathable oxygen. We are going to have expeditions out of the hotel.

• Our hotel it is going to be Saturn themed.• Every room will have a view with Saturn.• Wifi • Pool that is heated up. Water comes from the Moon

Enceladus ( it also goes to Dione moon)• Orthopedic beds aproven by Nasa

Page 10: Space Travel Project

How will day and night change for your guests? How will the resort deal with this time change?

• There are approximately 2 Saturn days in one earth day. There would be no time change only they would stay awake to their comfort. On expeditions during night every guest would have an night vision goggle.

• HD night vision goggle.• They would stay awake as in earth with no

problem

Page 11: Space Travel Project

What will be challenging about living at this resort? How will your resort accommodate this?

• Freezing temperatures- air conditioner• No oxygen- huge tank of glass surrounding the

hotel with oxygen. Also there is oxygen in the Hotel.

• Guests would be able to regulate air conditioner

• Indestructible glass

Page 12: Space Travel Project

Rocket Enginieer Specialist

• Travelers will be spending their time making diferent activities made by the hotel, including exploration, ring exploration and more, also people the hotel would have different activities inside the hotel

Page 13: Space Travel Project

How long in Earth days or years will it take to get to your planet?

• Ina satellite or a voyager the estimated time from the earth to Saturn is 3 - 6 years

• If we where going to Saturn we would probably design a spaceship with inside entertainment, also we would have different on board activities so the trip doesn't get to boring

Page 14: Space Travel Project

What important activities do you need to do in space to maintain good health?

• Probably, good activities to in space to manakin our health would be, make a space walk, eat, bath and exercise while we are in the spaceship and also outside it

• We would make this probably making people have fun meals, showing them a entertaining way to bath and exercise with games in which all the people play

Page 15: Space Travel Project

What challenges will your travelers face on the way to your planet? How will your trip

deal with those problems? • Some challenges we would face while going to our

planet would be crossing the asteroid belt located after Mars, other problem would be the healthy and the adapting to the trip, we will deal the asteroid belt problem with a new technology that makes the spaceship resistant to asteroids.

• We would have a fun trip and the problems would be solved by the captain of the spaceship. The getting adapted problem will be faced by making people eat healthier and making funny activities so they forget the problems

• I was surprised that• Saturn has almost none of the gases earth has• Saturn just has hyrdogen which earth has

almost none• Also saturn just has like 3 gases while earth

has a little bit of each one (a lot of gases)

List the equipment you will be describing for your trip.

• Nylon tricot • Spandex • Urethane-coated Nylon • Dacron • Neoprene-coated Nylon • Mylar • Gortex • Kevlar (material in bullet-proof vests) • Nomex • All of the layers are sewn and cemented together to form the

suit. The space suit consists of the following parts:

Page 19: Space Travel Project

List the equipment you will be describing for your trip.

Maximum Absorption Garment (MAG) – During almost seven hours of space walking, it is difficult for astronauts to relieve themselves of the urine produced by their body For this reason, every astronaut space walking, wears a large, absorbent diaper, which collects urine and feces while in the spacesuit. The MAG is disposed off after the completion of the space walk. Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG) – LCVG is a set of Nylon tricot and spandex "long underwear" that is laced with thin plastic tubes through which, cool water flows which eliminates the excess body heat produced by the astronaut. The cooling water comes from the spacesuit's backpack unit or from the spacecraft through an umbilical cord. EMU Electrical Harness (EEH) - This is a set of communications wires and bio instruments worn by the astronaut inside the suit. It connects to the radio and bio instruments in the suit's backpack. It helps in communication and monitors the astronaut's vital signs such as respiration rate, heart rate, temperature, etc. Communications Carrier Assembly (CCA) - The CCA is a fabric cap worn by the astronaut, which contains microphones and earphones enabling hand-free communication with the radio.

Page 20: Space Travel Project

List the equipment you will be describing for your trip.

• Lower Torso Assembly (LTA) - The LTA is a single unit, which includes pants, knee and ankle joints, boots and lower waist. A metal connect ring facilitates its fitting. The LTA has loops to join the tools preventing them from floating away in space.

• Hard Upper Torso (HUT) - The HUT is a hard fiberglass shell that resembles a vest and supports numerous structures such as the arms, lower torso, helmet, life-support backpack and control module.

• Arms - Arm unit holds shoulder, upper arm and elbow joint bearings enabling the astronaut free movement of his arms in any direction. The arm units are of various sizes so that they can be fitted to different astronauts.

• Gloves - Gloves aid easy movement of the wrist bearings. They are attached to the arms by quick-connect rings. For a proper grip on things, gloves have rubberized fingertips. Astronauts also wear fine-fabric gloves inside the outer glove units for comfort. The outer gloves have loops on them to tether tools.

• Helmet - The helmet is made of clear, impact-resistant, polycarbonate plastic, and is attached to the HUT by a quick-connect ring. The helmet is padded in the rear for comfort; it has a purge valve to eliminate carbon dioxide if the backup oxygen supply has to be used. In the helmet, oxygen flows from behind the astronaut's head, over the head and down his or her face. The inside of the helmet is treated with an anti-fog compound before the space walk

Page 21: Space Travel Project

List the equipment you will be describing for your trip.

• Extravehicular Visor Assembly ( EVA) – It protects the astronaut from bright sunlight.

• In-suit Drink Bag (IDB) – It provides drinking water to the astronaut during the space walk. It is a plastic pouch placed inside the HUT and can hold 32 ounces (1.9 liters) of water and has a small tube something like a straw that is placed next to the astronaut's mouth.

• Primary Life Support Subsystem (PLSS) – The PLSS is the backpack worn by the astronaut. It contains oxygen tanks, carbon dioxide scrubbers/filters, cooling water, radio, electrical power, ventilating fans and warning systems

• Secondary Oxygen Pack (SOP) – It provides emergency oxygen supply and fits below the PLSS on the backpack frame

• Display and Control Module (DCM) - The DCM is a chest-mounted unit. It holds all the switches, gauges, valves and LCD displays essential for operating the PLSS. The astronaut, with the help of a sleeve-mounted mirror, can view the DCM

Why is this equipment important in space?

• Outer space is far less welcoming than our wonderful planet Earth. Within a few seconds, you'd pass out from lack of oxygen in space. Your blood would "boil" then freeze due to the lack of air pressure. You'd be faced with 248-degree Fahrenheit (120-degree Celsius) heat from the sun and minus-148-degree Fahrenheit (-100 degrees C) cold when hidden from the sun. You'd also be exposed to a lot of radiation from cosmic rays.

• A spacesuit gives you oxygen and a pressurized atmosphere. Actually, the air you breathe in a spacesuit has more oxygen than the air you breathe on Earth! The spacesuit ensures you're not too hot or too cold. It protects you somewhat from radiation. It lets you see clearly and lets you talk with other astronauts and ground control back on Earth. It lets you move around and do your work. So, next time you go for a trip to outer space, don't forget your spacesuit!

• They are important in space because it’s the way that people can survive up there. All those techonologycal thing that includes help them be alive, but if they don’t have anyof this they will die in less than 10 sec. Also they are important because also the space has meteor and stuff like that that can hit the travelers so they need to have total protection.

What sights would be ‘must see’ on this planet/moon/asteroid/exoplanet?

• In this planet, the things that must be visited are the special surface of the planet and the special features of it. Also the moon Dion.

• The rings will be visited in ring racing. The surface will be explored in planet exploration activity and the Special features like gravity in adaptation activities and the space jump where they will play with their new weights and gravity with trampolines and other instruments. The

Page 26: Space Travel Project

What different activities can guests do while visiting these sights?

• There is ring racing to visit the rings and you can either go racing in little spaceships with only glass at the front that orbit through the ring path. There will be the space jump to prove new gravity, the adaption games to explore new features and planet vehicles activities and explorations activities to explore the other sights the planet might have.

• They will all be adrenaline adventures and this will make the Lo Adventure Hotel experiences unforgettable for the people that live it.

Page 27: Space Travel Project

What challenges will your travelers face on the planet/moon/asteroid/exoplanet? How will your

activities deal with those problems?

• They will have a different weight, and they will be in cooler temperatures. They will also have different gasses in the surface with no oxygen. To deal with this, we will do activities to get used to weight and also have walking sticks for everyone and special suits for the temperature and oxygen.

• To adapt to changes there will be different activities, mostly games of experimenting with the changes like weight changes.
