Herb Clinic Herbology is an important component of Chinese Medicine in the treatment of disease. Meet with a panel

of student interns supervised by a DOM herbalist who will create an herbal formula specific to the patient’s needs. Rx will be accessed, and the formula will be modified in follow up visits as the supervisor and students consider appropriate.

TCM Acupuncture Clinic Traditional Chinese Medicine is the most common style of acupuncture. It utilizes theoretical frameworks such as Yin-Yang Theory 8 Principles, and Zang-Fu Organ Theory. TCM excels in the treatment of pain as well as internal diseases.

Japanese Clinic Japanese style of acupuncture uses gentle needle insertion/manipulation. Non-insertive techniques are commonly used as well as a heavy use of direct moxa. A typical session consists of a front and back treatment.

Tan/Tung Acupuncture Clinic Tan/Tung Acupuncture specializes in using Master Tung and Dr. Tan’s “balancing method” to treat acute

and/or chronic pain. Mirroring and meridian correspondence are used to select points on the limbs.

Five Element Specialty Clinic The Five Element Acupuncture system facilitates a focus of the technique uses Oriental Medicine observation (voice, skin tone, smell, pulse) in order to discern disease. The system emphasizes the observation of Shen and treats on a spirit-based level, making it particularly useful for diseases of the psyche – soul (mental imbalances, for instance). It can be used by itself or added on to other systems of Chinese Medicine. It has specialized treatments to balance the body, expel pathogenic physical or spiritual influences, and evolve the psyche.
