trinity preschool sUMMer day caMp Trinity Preschool will have Summer Day Camp, Monday through Friday the week of June 25-29 from 10am to 1pm.
The theme this summer is Our Island Home. Children ages 3 through 5 are invited to help us celebrate Whidbey Island with crafts, stories, music, games and outdoor activities. The cost is $16 per day. Registration forms are available in the church office.

Children ages 5-11 are invited to come learn about our environment and our shared responsibility as stewards of the earth and its inhabitants.
Guest speakers, Susie Richards of SEA, Howard Garrett of ORCA Network, Joy Johnson, co-author of several local bird books, and Laura Lugenbill, nutritionist, will share their knowledge of our environment and the care of the earth and our bodies. Each day will be filled with stories, fun games and activities.

Japanese camp Wabi-Sabi, July 9-13 Japanese value something called “wabi-sabi”: an aesthetic of imperfection, simplicity, and wear. In this year’s Japanese Camp, we’ll explore “wabi-sabi” and Japanese life and art in visits to a Japanese garden and temple, in a real Japanese tea ceremony, and by making our own “wabi-sabi” tea bowls.
French camp La Naissance du Cinema, July 16-20 We’ll explore motion picture’s beginnings in 1930s Paris, by making our own film, sets, and costumes, and learning about the early days of the movies in the time of George Melies and the Brothers Lumiere.
spanish camp Los Juegos Olimpicos, July 30-Aug 3 Are you ready for the 2012 NWLA Olympic Games? Spanish campers this year will learn about sport and citizenship, creating their own version of the games happening this summer in London.
