Hanuman to Mount Kailash to bring a Lingam for worship when he set foot after defeating

Ravana. As Hanuman did not return when the auspicious hour was approaching, Sita

made a sand Lingam so that worship could be performed in time, which is where the

present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of theisland. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent

up to this hilltop wildlife sanctuary is one of the most beautiful . Starting with coconut

groves at the lower lever you then see rubber, tea and the spice plantation as you gain

Day 07: Kumarakom:Today we start our drive for Kumarakom. The drive is a beautiful

experience passing through the backwaters and plantations. Upon arrival at Kumarkom
