Back in the Spotlight Senior guard/forward Asia Dozier returned to thestartinglineupagainstHampton(Dec.16),onceagainworkingherwayintotheopeningtipoffafterselflesslyyielding her spot to a teammate in the team’s bestinterest.Thetwo-timeteamcaptainnotablyofferedherstarting role prior to the 2014-15 season,whichheadcoachDawnStaleygaveittoAlainaCoatesforthefirstsixgamesbeforedecidingthatthetwoplayers’roleswerebetterservedinthereverse.Thisseason,Doziersteppedasideforfellow-seniorTinaRoy,whohadbeenshootingwellinthepreseasonandcouldprovidemoreimmediateoffensivepunch.Yetagain,Dozierkeptagoodattitudeand work ethic throughout, proving her value to hercoach and team, and Staley reinserted her into thelineupeightgamesintotheseason.
