SPECIALS inwood Inn has traced its roots back

to 1862 when Union County was part of Essex

County. Originally it was called the Linden

Park Hotel. As one of the oldest buildings in

Linden, the original City Hall planning meet-

ings were held in this building. The Inn has

been here through the end of the Civil War,

and every major War or Conflict since. It has

also survived it’s own battle with eminent do-

main. It has seen many Industries in Linden

come and go, such as Cyanimide, Tenco,

Dupont, Gordons Gin, and General Motors

Corp.

In 2006 the Star Ledger Munch Mobile voted

the Linwood “Best Hamburger”. They should

come back and try the Pizza!!
