MAKE-UP DATES FOR ALTAR SERVER TRAINING

We have scheduled the make up training days for those who were unable to attend in July. We ask that each server attends

one of the two. Either Thursday,

AUGUST 16TH from 9:00AM-11:00AM or Saturday, AUGUST 18TH from 8:30AM-11:00AM.

Each training day will be capped at 20 servers each. Please call ahead to reserve your spot for your preferred day. Call the Parish office

ASAP to sign up.

Also, as a reminder, if you do not turn in a new registration form, you will be removed from the list of altar servers. ALL NEW ALTAR SERVERS are also required to attend one of these training days as well.

1. Parents must be married in the Catholic Church. 2. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must

make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized.

3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation).

4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married.

5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come.

6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at 272-3463 to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class.

7. Baptism in English is every 3rd Sunday of each month after the 10am Mass.

1. Los padres deben estar casados por la Iglesia catolica. 2. Si la pareja está casada civilmente o no están casados,

ellos deben hacer una cita para reunirse con el Pastor antes de bautizar a su hijo(s).

Rollin, Laurie (Charlie) Young, with nine grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren and special caretaker,

Nina Colvin. Funeral Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Alejandro E. Valladares on

SECOND COLLECTION. St. Bede Parish will take up a Second Collection this weekend,

August 4 & 5, for the Church in Latin America. This collection supports works of evangelization,

formation of laity, religious and seminarians, as well as youth ministry and catechesis. Please extend

It was then that I began to think more seriously about material possessions and death. Leaving the Church in your final will and testament is a Holy act. What greater testament could be made to the world, family and God than to say, I support my parish Church even in the end. Please consider leaving
