The Baltimore Kappa Silhouettes recently held their annual Scholarship and Jazz

Brunch at The Forum Caterers, on Nov. 17. The Silhouettes are the wives and widows of the

Men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Baltimore alumni chapter. This was just one of

the events to support their community outreach and

service projects.

Members of the faith community and beyond gathered Nov. 16 for the celebration of 20 years in ministry of the Rev. Dr. Frances “Toni” Draper, pastor of Freedom Temple AME Zion Church, formerly John Wesley AMEZ in Baltimore. Twenty years of ministry, more than 30 years of marriage to Andre Draper and countless hours of service in various arenas in the metropolitan area. Pastor Toni, as she is called, continues to share

her life and faith with one of her favorite verses, “I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
