Somerset Pool & Cabana
RULES/REGULATIONS
The pool access card and security cameras
provide for recorded information on residents use of the pool. The visual record will aid in the
identification and prosecution of criminal activity
by any individual.
It is important that you do not open the pool door for anyone who does not have an
access card. Your actions will be recorded.
While you may believe that you are being courteous, you may provide access to non-
residents who may be responsible for criminal
activity and may disturb your enjoyment of the pool.
Remember that it is your HOA fees that pay for
the maintenance and use of the pool. Rules & regulations – which are normal for all HOA
communities - are important and necessary for
your health, safety and enjoyment of all community amenities.
Pool hours are from Dawn to Dusk. Use of the
pool is limited to residents & guests of
Somerset.
NO LOITERING IN POOL AREA!
� Use of the pool is at your own risk. No lifeguards are on duty.
� Pool parties are prohibited.
� Adult owner/tenant must accompany guests
of all ages to the pool and be present with
them at all times. Pool usage is limited to 5 guests per home at one time.
� A parent or legal guardian, at least 18 years
old with proper ID, must supervise children under 14 at all times.
� Swimming alone is discouraged.
� Please shower before entering the pool to remove lotions and body oils.
� Infants & toddlers must wear swim diapers
designed for pool usage. Disposable diapers & cloth diapers are not permitted. Children
who are not potty-trained are not permitted in the pool at any time.
� Flotation devices are limited to body size rafts and noodle-type floats. Balls & water
guns/cannons are prohibited.
� No running, diving, cannon balling or boisterous play will be allowed.
� No smoking in pool or pool area.
� Glass containers of any kind are not allowed
in the pool/cabana area. Only Plastic
containers for beverages may be used in the pool/cabana area. Food is not allowed in the
pool/cabana area. Food must be consumed in
the picnic area only.
� Alcohol is NOT permitted in the pool area.
� Persons with skin abrasion or those who are
ill should not enter the pool.
� Bathing suits are the ONLY appropriate
swimwear.
� Music must be listened to with personal
headphones.
� Please use towels on furniture when using lotions.
� Pets will not be brought into the pool or pool
area.
� Gates to the pool will be kept closed.
� Skates, skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles,
scooters, etc., will not be used or brought into the pool area.
� Please return and/or re-arrange pool
furniture to its original setting. Be sure the gate is securely closed when you leave.
� All articles left in the pool area will be discarded by the janitorial service. Be sure to
check your area for personal items before
leaving.
Violations of the rules, equipment failure or
safety problems should be brought to the attention of the Community Manager.
