IFMSA - ASOCEM- El Salvador and Guatemala have created a strategic alliance in

exchange, in order to make the experience of clinical exchanges of both countries,

in one of the most pleasant and enriching stay , with the advantage of its proximity

SCOPE Exchange: Social Program Guatemala-El Salvador

The historical, natural and cultural patrimony of Guatemala can be discover across

its territory, its magic and the mystery of the Mayan world, which subsist in cities

like Tikal, Yaxhá, Aguateca, Quirigua, among others. The faces, the colorful

costumes and the friendliness of the people of the highlands is the echo of an

impressive colonial past that still can be heard in churches and convents of La

Antigua Guatemala and is contact with the exuberant nature, origin and the

destination to a unique biodiversity in the world.

Our SCOPE Social Program Team will gladly receive you, and they will take you to a light

lunch where you can choose between typical food in the central market of Guatemala City

or fast food at any point, none exceed more than $5 (40 quetzales) and then, you are

going to visit Centennial Park at the city center. After, you will join a tour around the

historic center choosing between visit different museums, which the cost is between $0.75

- $2.5 (5-20 quetzales) the entry. Museums are very accessible for you, because you can

At night, we will begin with dinner that will depend on tastes of our guests. Then we will

visit a popular bar either in Zone 1 Metropolitan, living area or Paseo Cayalá, an
