Social Media Plan 101 Alpha Psi Alpha Psi is a chapter with a very specific brand. We are an organization of women that strive to embody confidence, loyal sisterhood, genuine care for others, and support for our fellow sisters. The purpose of our social media is to show our audience how dedicated we are to our brand. Each post should embody one of these brand characteristics while still giving off a positive and fun vibe. If you have any questions what so ever, please contact your Vice President of Public Relations. External Facebook: o Audience – Alumnae, local community, campus peers, other Greeks o Posts – Facebook is going to be the Alpha social media site. Posts with high information content such as philanthropy events, celebrations, updates on KD’s achievements, Follow Friday, and thank you/shout-outs will be published on this site. o Key to Facebook – Don’t write super long posts, however there is a reason we have a Facebook and a Twitter. Instagram: o Audience – campus peers, other KDs, and other Greeks o Posts – Pictures depicting Alpha Psi’s sisterhood and positive nature. Campaigns like Spotlight Sis, #KDays, #AOTuesday, #MotivationalMonday are perfect for this social media. All pictures should be fun, positive, and represent the values that Alpha Psi holds dear. o Key to Pinterest – This social media is more to promote the KD brand to the chapter than to the public. Pins for events such as Bid day, Big Reveal, ritual, etc are meant to create enthusiasm and excitement.
