SOCIAL BOOKMARKING
Social Bookmarking is a way of saving web pages or
online information for future use. So, instead of adding web pages to your ‘Favorites’ tool bar in your web browser, you can use a social bookmarking site to
bookmark what you desire.

Pinterest is a free social bookmarking site that allows you to browse pinboards created by other people and it also allows you to create your own. By browsing you can find inspiration and discover new things.

Twitter is a free social website that allows you to gain traffic to your site, business, and blogs by tweeting updates. In order to post your tweets in an attractive way for other people to see it is best to use an interesting statement that is related to your blog/site with the URL.
Benefits:● Teachers, parents, students can use this website to communicate and share ideas.
Reddit is another neat social bookmarking and social networking site that allows you to share and discover new websites. You register a username and password then start submitting and sharing your bookmarks.

StumbleUpon is a social bookmarking that allows you to surf through different sites looking for what interests you. To use StumbleUpon you create a profile and pick your interests. For instance, you can save your favorite websites and easily access them any time.
Benefits:● Communication (social)● Teachers and Students can use this for websites that they often visit.
STUMBLEUPON
Delicious is a popular and free social bookmarking site that allows you to browse and save online bookmarks. When a user saves the websites it saves to the web and not to the computer’s web browser. This allows easy access as long as you have internet connection.
Benefits:● Communication (social)● Share hyperlinks with others● Find helpful sites to use with the curriculum you teach within Delicious.
DELICIOUS
BuzzFeed is another popular social bookmarking website that allows a user to post videos and browse what is happening on the internet. You can explore the different topic tabs: Politics, Sports, Food, etc.
Benefits:● User friendly (a lot like YouTube, which is another bookmarking website).● Discovering Educational Videos● Visual Learners
BUZZFEED
Overall, social bookmarking is a great way to keep all your bookmarks organized and easy to use. It is a great way to share, search, organize, and manage any web resources you wish to keep handy.
