Snap that Sound! (Beginning Consonant Sounds) Thanks to Joyce Causey for a great idea! I decided to make the Alphabet Find and Color sheets in black and white to make them more cost effective (saving ink). When I removed the colored sheets from the website, Joyce wrote and told me that she has used the original color set for a clothespin activity, never thinking that I would remove them from the site! Here is a new, upgraded set to go with her idea for a clothespin game. When I taught kinder I always felt that clothespin activities served a dual purpose as terrific training for fine motor skills used in a pencil grip and for emergent writing! Thanks again, Joyce, for the awesome idea. Directions: Download, print in color on cardstock and laminate for durability. You may want to mount them on heavy poster board before laminating. To make it self-checking, place a sticker on the back to designate correct answers.
