INAUGURATION OF GANDHI STUDY CENTRE
INTRODUCTION
MAHATHMA GANDHI –the father of our nation was great thinker ,philosopher and great visionary he
practices what he preached setting a model for the entire humankind Gandhi was a rishi saint in the true
essence his thoughts are everlasting and they are relevant even today and no doubt remain so eternally to
perpetuate the Gandhi philosophy to enlighten the future generation about the phenomenon known as
Gandhi , our great leaders of independent India formed an entity –Gandhi smarak nidhi – under the
stewardship of Jawaharlal Nehru , the first prime minister of India
A branch of the Gandhi memorial trust was established in 1949 and it strove to propagate the Gandhian
thoughts in the state level, after the linguistic division of states in our country it was renamed as
Karnataka Gandhi Smaraka nidhi as an autonomous body
Our college under the guidance of tour beloved principal decided to be part of this study circle and
propagate the values, thoughts, of Gandhi to our students
GOAL: To Perpetuate the Gandhi Philosophy To Enlighten The Future Generation About The
