Presents : MECHAMORPHOSIS To exibit the telent of students MECHAMORPHOSISis conducted. Various technical events are conducted and students get an opportunity, to participate as well as coordinate the events. This has some of the major crowd pulling events. These events usually have some problem statements and restrictions for bots. Robowar is a major event held under mechanical events.
MECHAMORPHOSIS’17 comprised of the events like Bullista, Roller Coaster, Quizzal, Robowar, Technophile.
Roller Coaster
In Roller Coaster participents had prepared a track for marble using one’s creativity following various constraints. The team needs to form a path (i.e., Roller coaster) for marble so that the marble can elapse maximum amount of time on the roller coaster.
The winners of Roller Coaster are listed below:
Group Winners Names
2nd year 1st Mayur Finaviya

Vishal Kalena
2nd Year 3rd Naudip Kathrotiya
Sanjay Sarikhada
Ballista
A Ballista is an ancient military siege engine in the form of a crossbow. Typically it was used to hurl large bolts, and had better accuracy than a catapult at the expense of reduced range. We chose the name "ballista" for this event because we too are attempting to accurately "hurl projectiles" at software in an attempt to expose robustness failures.
The winners of Ballista are listed below:
Group Winners Names
2nd year 1st Rajan Gosai
Mayur Finaviya
Sagar Chopada
Ajay Bhut
Robo War
Here is a nice platform for you to show your warrior attitude. This is not war of evil and god, but for the great techno-minds, who design the robots. The challenge was to create a robot whose sole purpose was to push, throw, flip, drag or otherwise move your opponent out of the War field within a stipulated time. This event aims to test your robot against another in a field of combat where brute strength and cat-like reflexes hold the key to success.
The winners of Robo-war are listed below:
Group Winners Names
2nd year 1st Ankit Mehta
Hardik Shiroya
Yash Godhvani
Technophile
A poster is a graphically based approach to presenting research. In presenting your research with a poster, you should aim to use the poster as a means for generating active discussion of the research. This helps to develope students poster preparation and presentation skill.
The winners of Technophile are listed below:
Group Winners Names
2nd year 1st Niraj Parmar
Vasundhara Katariya
Gopal Ponkiya

Presents : NIRMAAN The fest is an attempt to make young mind acquainted technically and to develop their non techincal skills. A series of brain storming events are arrenged to satisfy the hunger of technosavy civil engineering students. The main technical events were Truss, Smart City, Dam-o-mania while the non techincal event was civil hunt.
Truss
This event was based on stability of floating bridge against submergence/failure of bridge made up of candy sticks and cotton thread. Failure criteria were to check deflaction or submergence of bridge.
The winners of Truss are listed below:
Group Winners Names
2nd year 1st Yogesh Gohil
Dhananjay Kunchala
Ankit Vegad
Dam-o-mania
To construct a structure to support overhead water tank using provided materials and specified dimensions for static gradual load conditions. Time given to construct this structure was around 1 hour. After completion of time, the structure was checked for specified dimension rules and then after the structure was tested under gradual static load at top of the structure. I.e. structure height, self-weight and applied load.
The winners of Dam-o-mania are listed below:
Group Winners Names
2nd year 1st Yogesh Gohil
Dhananjay Kunchala
Civil Hunt
This event was based on search for hidden clues. It was the most succefull event of the fest. It is the best way to raise and explore your IQ level as well as physical and technical understanding and awareness. Mainly, there were 2 rounds in the event. After dissipating every round, participants will be sent for the next level. Two rounds comprise of penetration and transcription of the given hints and clues which would be given in every stage of the round. Develop a skill to manage time, though Time complexity of solving problem is an important aspect.
